    What trades have impacted the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and which players were selected with those picks?

    First Overall Pick: Chicago Bears to Carolina Panthers

    Pick: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama

    The Bears traded the first overall pick to the Panthers in exchange for WR DJ Moore, picks 9 and 61, a 2024 first, and a 2025 second-round pick.

    Third Overall Pick: Arizona Cardinals to Houston Texans

    Pick: Will Anderson Jr., EDGE, Alabama

    The Texans traded picks No. 3 and No. 105 to the Cardinals for picks No. 12, No. 33, and 2024 1st and 3rd round picks.

    Fifth Overall Pick: Denver Broncos to Seattle Seahawks

    Pick: Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois

    In 2022, the Broncos traded Drew Lock, Shelby Harris, Noah Fant, and the ninth, 40th, and 152nd selections, as well as 2023 first and second-round picks, to the Seahawks in exchange for Russell Wilson and pick 116 in 2022.

    Sixth Overall Pick: Los Angeles Rams to Detroit Lions to Arizona Cardinals

    Pick: Paris Johnson Jr., OT, Ohio St.

    In 2021, the Rams traded pick 32, 2021 third-round and 2023 first-round selections, and quarterback Jared Goff to Detroit in exchange for quarterback Matthew Stafford.

    On draft night, the Lions traded picks 6 and 81 to the Cardinals for picks 12, 34, and 168.

    Ninth Overall Pick: Carolina Panthers to Chicago Bears to Philadelphia Eagles

    Pick: Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia

    The Bears traded the first overall pick to the Panthers for WR DJ Moore, the ninth and 61st selections in 2023, a 2024 first, and a 2025 second-round pick.

    Then on draft night, the Bears traded pick No. 9 to the Eagles for pick No. 10 and a 2024 fourth-round pick.

    10th Overall Pick: New Orleans Saints to Philadelphia Eagles to Chicago Bears

    Pick: Darnell Wright, OT, Tennessee

    In 2022, the Eagles traded the 16th, 19th, and 194th overall picks to the Saints in exchange for picks 18, 101, and 237, plus a 2023 first-round selection and a 2024 second-round selection.

    Then on draft night, the Bears traded pick No. 9 to the Eagles for pick No. 10 and a 2024 fourth-round pick.

    12th Overall Pick: Cleveland Browns to Houston Texans to Arizona Cardinals to Detroit Lions

    Pick: Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama

    In 2022, the Browns traded the 13th and 107th overall selections, 2023 first and third-round selections, and 2024 first and fourth-round selections in exchange for quarterback Deshaun Watson and a 2024 sixth-round pick.

    13th Overall Pick: New York Jets to Green Bay Packers

    Pick: Lukas Van Ness, EDGE, Iowa

    The Packers traded Aaron Rodgers, the 15th and 170th overall selections to the Jets in exchange for picks 13 and 42 overall, as well as a 2024 second-round pick that becomes a first-rounder if Rodgers plays at least 65% of the snaps this season.

    14th Overall Pick: New England Patriots to Pittsburgh Steelers

    Pick: Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia

    The Patriots traded pick 14 to the Steelers for picks 17 and 120.

    15th Overall Pick: Green Bay Packers to New York Jets

    Pick: Will McDonald IV, EDGE, Iowa St.

    The Packers traded Aaron Rodgers, the 15th and 170th overall selections to the Jets in exchange for Nos. 13 and 42 in 2023, as well as a 2024 second-round pick that becomes a first-rounder if Rodgers plays at least 65% of the snaps this season.

    17th Overall Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers to New England Patriots

    The Patriots traded pick 14 to the Steelers for picks 17 and 120.

    24th Overall Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars to New York Giants

    Pick: Deonte Banks, CB, Maryland

    The Jaguars traded pick 24 to the Giants for picks 25, 160, and 240.

    25th Overall Pick: New York Giants to Jacksonville Jaguars to Buffalo Bills

    The Jaguars traded pick 24 to the Giants for picks 25, 160, and 240. Then the Jaguars traded pick 25 to the Bills for picks 27 and 130.

    27th Overall Pick: Buffalo Bills to Jacksonville Jaguars

    Pick: Anton Harrison, OT, Oklahoma

    The Jaguars traded pick 25 to the Bills for picks 27 and 130.

    29th Overall Pick: San Francisco 49ers to Miami Dolphins to Denver Broncos to New Orleans Saints

    Pick: Bryan Bresee, DT, Clemson

    In 2021, the Dolphins traded the third overall pick to the 49ers in exchange for pick 12, 2022 first-round and third-round selections, and a 2023 first-rounder.
