Paige Bueckers is the face of the women’s basketball world right now, and with her dominance, fans can’t help but wonder about her personal life.
The former UConn Huskies star wrapped up a fairytale college career by leading her team to a record 12th national championship and then became the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings.
Now, the 22-year-old guard carries big expectations and plenty of attention. Fans have followed her journey every step of the way. But as she becomes a household name, many are asking a more personal question: who’s Paige Bueckers dating?
Is UConn Star Paige Bueckers Dating Someone?
If you ask Paige, dating is the last thing on her mind. So, the answer, at least publicly, is no. Bueckers has not been seen with a boyfriend or discussed any current relationship. “I’m more just focused on basketball,” she told GQ’s Leah Faye Cooper in February.
In the same interview, she laughed about how close she is with her teammates. Cooper wrote that Bueckers’ close-knit bond with her teammates during COVID became special: “Me and that freshman class, I feel like they’re going to be my bridesmaids,” she told GQ. But, as Cooper noted, “Not that she’s planning a wedding anytime soon.”

She also made it clear that finding someone special has been tough, calling the dating world “crazy.”
And while she stays tight-lipped about her personal life, her on-court performance says plenty. She recently became the first player in UConn history to post three 30-point games in NCAA Tournament play. Her season stats have been phenomenal—she averaged 19.9 points, 4.6 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game.
Bueckers Remains Single as Rumors Swirl About Her Love Life
Fans have long speculated about Bueckers’ love life. She’s been linked to NBA star and childhood friend Jalen Suggs and former Oklahoma QB Spencer Rattler. But none of those rumors ever turned into anything concrete, and Bueckers has never addressed them publicly.
She has addressed her love for the game. After tearing her ACL in 2022, she returned with a vengeance, guiding the Huskies to another national title and climbing to No. 5 on the all-time NCAA tournament scoring list with 444 points.
Now, she is hoping to duplicate her success in the WNBA as a member of the Wings. All eyes will be on Bueckers as she makes the jump to the next level, and we’ll see if she finds love at some point in the near future.
