Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese Net Worth and Career Earnings: Which WNBA Superstar is Richer?

Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese: Who's winning the money game? A deep dive into their net worth, contracts, and massive endorsement deals!

The rivalry between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese has been one of the most electrifying storylines in women’s basketball.

From being college superstars to headlining the WNBA’s next generation, these two stars have captivated fans with their talent, and undeniable star power. But beyond the on-court battles, there’s another arena where they’re competing—the money game.

Both Clark and Reese have inked massive endorsement deals, secured WNBA contracts (not so lucrative though), and built brands that extend far beyond basketball. But when it comes to cold, hard cash, who’s winning? Who’s stacking up the biggest checks? Let’s break it down.

Angel Reese’ Salary And Contract Details

At just 22 years old, Angel Reese is already a household name. The Chicago Sky rookie has a net worth estimated at $2 million, according to multiple reports. But if you ask her? That number isn’t even close.

During an interview at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, Reese was asked about her wealth by host Speedy Morman. When Morman mentioned the $2 million figure, Reese immediately shot it down.

“Is it inaccurate?” Morman pressed.

“Yeah,” Reese responded bluntly, making it clear she believes she’s worth far more.

And honestly? She might have a point.

The Chicago Sky drafted Reese seventh overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft and signed her to a four-year, $324,383 contract. Here’s what she’ll be making over the next few seasons as per Spotrac:

  • 2024: $73,439
  • 2025: $74,909
  • 2026: $82,399
  • 2027: $93,636

What is Reese’s Endorsements and NIL Value?

Reese’s real money, though, isn’t coming from her WNBA paycheck—it’s coming from endorsements. Even before she turned pro, she was cashing in big.

She signed 17 NIL deals in college, partnering with Reebok, PlayStation, Sports Illustrated, Amazon, Calvin Klein, JanSport, and more. Those deals alone were worth an estimated $1.8 million between 2022 and 2023.

And now, as one of the biggest personalities in the WNBA, her brand is only growing.

Caitlin Clark’s Salary and Contract Details

If Reese is a marketing powerhouse, then Caitlin Clark is an unstoppable financial wizard. The 23-year-old Indiana Fever superstar isn’t just winning on the court—she’s dominating the business side of the game, too.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Clark’s fortune is estimated at $5 million—more than twice what’s reported for Reese. And unlike Reese, she hasn’t questioned the numbers.

Being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft gave Clark a slightly bigger paycheck. She signed a four-year, $338,056 deal with the Fever, with annual salaries structured as follows:

  • 2024: $76,535
  • 2025: $78,066
  • 2026: $85,873
  • 2027: $97,582

Moreover, Clark will hit free agency in 2028, where she’ll likely command a much bigger deal.

What is Clark’s Endorsements and NIL Value?

While Clark’s WNBA salary is not so solid, her real wealth comes from endorsements—and no one is doing it bigger.

She’s already signed deals with Nike, Wilson Sporting Goods, Gatorade, Bose, and State Farm, among others. But her biggest payday? Nike’s historic deal.

Nike first partnered with Clark in 2022, and now, they have doubled down with a mind-blowing $28 million, eight-year contract, complete with her own signature shoe.

To put that into perspective, Clark will be making an average of $3.5 million per year from Nike alone—more than 40 times her WNBA salary.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. In 2024 alone, she pulled in an estimated $11 million in endorsements, including her NIL earnings from college.

Reese vs. Clark – Who Is Richer?

It’s pretty clear – as of 2025, Caitlin Clark is the undisputed money queen of the WNBA. Her $5 million net worth blows Reese’s reported $2 million out of the water. And with Nike’s $28 million deal in the pipeline, an $11 million endorsement haul, and a rapidly growing brand, Clark is setting a new financial standard in women’s basketball.

But Reese isn’t backing down. She’s got major deals, a booming personal brand, and the confidence to keep climbing. So while Clark may be winning the money game for now, Reese is right behind her.

Angel’s NIL deals exceeded north of 7 million during her college days. It’s amazing how inaccurate “Google’s net worth” can be when it comes to certain players. So long as it fits a specific narrative I guess. Lol

She leads the league in rebounds and double doubles, but she’s the worst, you people are sad. Haters will hate.

I’m at a loss for words that any company would endorse Angel Reese! Yes, in her Senior year at LSU, she was getting endorsements because she could dominate due to her size. In the WNBA , she is just a slow average player with limited offensive skills.

Reese is quite possibly one of the Worst so called pro women’s players ever, I am dumb founded, how she got signed at all, if she wasn’t pretty and for the beef with Catlin keeping her relevant she’d be history already.
She’s Absolutely Awful and should not be on the Court, Period, Sorry just my Opinion.

If you want to be honest, a lot of her rebounds come from her own missed shots. She is a good player, but far from the best she is also right up there in the top five in double dribbles and traveling calls. I’m not hating on her at all. Those are just the facts.
