The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game is officially in the books, and what a show it was. Despite the absence of some big names like Caitlin Clark due to a groin injury, Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis was still packed to the rafters. The game had a sold-out crowd of reportedly 16,988 fans on Saturday night.
The atmosphere was electric, and Team Collier delivered a dominant 151-131 win over Team Clark. But even though Clark wasn’t on the court, she still managed to steal the postgame spotlight.
Kelsey Plum Gets Roasted by Caitlin Clark
After the game, Kelsey Plum took to Instagram to celebrate her All-Star weekend. She posted a carousel of photos and a few pictures showed her standing confidently in front of a massive Nike logo.

That’s when Clark jumped into the comments with the now-viral six-word jab, “Thank u for the Nike ad.”

You might be wondering why Clark found this moment so good for trolling. Well, here’s where things get interesting. Plum is not a Nike athlete.
Plum, who was selected No. 1 overall in the 2017 WNBA Draft by the San Antonio Stars (now the Las Vegas Aces), did indeed sign with Nike early in her career. But after her contract expired, she made a major switch by inking a multi-year deal with Under Armour.
Not just a sponsored player, Plum is now the face of Under Armour’s women’s basketball division.
“At Under Armour, we empower those who strive for more. In the first five minutes of speaking with Kelsey, I knew she was ‘as advertised.’ She exemplifies toughness and grit, and her stories of overcoming resonate,” said Charece Williams Gee, who is the Under Armour senior director of sports marketing and partnerships.
Moreover she even unveiled a new shoe, which is the UA Breakthru 5 “Plumberry” player-exclusive colorway just before the All-Star Game.
So, for her to be posing in front of a massive Nike logo? Clark couldn’t resist that one.
In the 2025 offseason, Plum was involved in a three-team trade that sent her to the Los Angeles Sparks. So far this season, she’s averaging 20.1 points, 5.8 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game.
During the All-Star Game, she put on a strong performance for Team Collier as she finished with 16 points and five rebounds.
Team Collier had control of the game from the jump, leading by 24 at halftime. They even had the highest lead of the game of 30 points at one point in the third quarter. Although they took their foot off the gas a bit in the final period, the outcome was never in doubt.
Still we can say that after the buzzer, it was Clark who had the last laugh.
