In her previous three games before the Storm encounter, Clark averaged 11.3 points on 35.8% shooting, including 16.4% from behind the arc.
A lingering back issue has forced Fever coach Stephanie White to put her on a minutes restriction, a key reason she has struggled to get any rhythm.
The 6-foot guard is still limited in minutes, but it did not matter on Friday. She made 11 of 18 shots, including 6 of 10 from 3-point distance. Clark made 17 of 19 free throws to reach her tally.
The Fever badly needed everything Clark could give them against the stubborn Storm, who entered the game with a 6-20 record, the worst in the WNBA.
Indiana led 37-26 after the first quarter, but Seattle won the next two periods 62-45, to lead 88-82 entering the final 12 minutes.
Clark, who nearly played the entire fourth quarter, made key shots down the stretch to rally her team to the finish line. She hit a 32-footer with 2:23 remaining to move Indiana to within 100-99. A few possessions later, she fed Monique Billings for an and-1 play to tie the game at 102 apiece with 1:11 left.
After a quick rest, Clark returned to block Johnson’s layup and then drilled a stepback 3-pointer to put Indiana ahead 105-102. She scored four pressure-packed free throws late in the game to drag her team to the win.
