In a difficult update for Wings fans and for Fudd herself, the rookie guard broke her silence on her Instagram stories Wednesday. The 23-year-old provided details on the injury that has kept her out since the first week of August and will now bring her rookie season to a premature end.

The update read: “Most of you probably already saw. I’ve got a small procedure coming up on my knee, and I’ll be out as I recover. I know exactly what comes next: rehab, put in the work, come back ready and better than before.”

Now she is on the sidelines facing another procedure on that troublesome knee without being able to complete her rookie year.
