Angel Reese Sends 4-Word Message to Celebrate Second Win Over Caitlin Clark’s Fever in Last 3 Days

After back-to-back victories over the Indiana Fever, Angel Reese is feeling extremely confident about the Atlanta Dream.

The Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark rivalry seemed like it had cooled off to some extent after the intensity of the collegiate landscape. But since her trade to the Atlanta Dream, it has been renewed due to the competitiveness of both squads.

After losing earlier in the season, the superstar forward has staked her claim in the feud with back-to-back victories. Their latest triumph has now led the LSU product to share her joy across social media as well.

Angel Reese Celebrating Fever Dominance

Earlier in the season, the Fever were able to take care of business, winning 83-71 in one of the worst games of the year for Reese.

Against Indiana, she took it to the next level. In back-to-back victories, she put her best foot forward, knocking down 15 of 24 shots.

After the second game, she wrote on X, “DUBS IN THE CHATTTT,” as her excitement was clearly palpable. For the Dream, it has been as seamless a transition as they could have hoped for.

With her time on the Chicago Sky coming to a premature end, there were legitimate question marks about the fit between Reese and Atlanta. However, she has fit in perfectly to the roster, helping them secure the best record in the Eastern Conference.

At 11-4, they look like legitimate contenders, while Reese continues her upward trajectory offensively and is also a potential DPOY candidate. Reese is the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 1,000 rebounds, and her effectiveness for the Dream is hard to understate.

But for a relatively new franchise that was founded less than two decades ago, the Reese acquisition put them back on the map, perhaps for the first time since their Finals loss in 2013. However, they have quickly shown that adding her has been a home run on the court as well.

With the former rebounding champion putting up 15.3 points and 11.9 rebounds per game, she is having arguably the best season of her career. Simultaneously, two victories over her arch-nemesis are only going to further help the confidence of the squad as a whole.

After three straight first-round exits and their last playoff series win coming in 2018, Atlanta has a chance to erase some of their history and emerge as a legitimate contender in the league.

Now, it’s about sustaining their momentum and continuing their excellence in the postseason as well.
