Few moments pregame on Monday Night Football (MNF) carry as much weight as the national anthem, and fans tuning in for the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Miami Dolphins matchup at the Acrisure Stadium will hear a familiar voice before kickoff.
Country music artist Craig Campbell is set to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” ahead of the Week 15 MNF game in Pittsburgh.
Craig Campbell to Sing the National Anthem at Dolphins vs. Steelers Game
Craig Campbell is a country singer-songwriter and Grindstone Recordings artist. He will sing the national anthem before the Monday night NFL Week 15 showdown at 8:15 p.m. ET between the Dolphins and the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.
Campbell shared the news on his Facebook page by reposting an announcement from Everything Nash, calling the opportunity a personal honor as an American patriot.
“God, family, and country are the top three priorities in my life, and singing our national anthem is an incredible honor,” Campbell said in the post. “What a great way to wrap up an amazing year on Monday Night Football!”

Campbell’s appearance on MNF also caps off a successful year for the country music star. Earlier this year, he released the single “Missing You,” which climbed the national country charts and became his first charting release since launching Grindstone Recordings in 2020, surpassing over 16 million streams.
Off the stage, Campbell has remained deeply involved in charitable work through the Kenny Campbell Foundation, an organization named in honor of his father, who passed away from colorectal cancer at the age of 36.
The foundation’s inaugural benefit concert, held in July at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium, raised over $10,000 to support cancer awareness and initiatives.
Campbell recently ended his 2025 touring schedule as part of Acoustic Jam 2025, where he performed alongside Chris Janson, Kameron Marlow, The Band Perry, Mackenzie Carpenter, and others.
The event took place at The Louisville Palace in Kentucky on December 11, so the MNF national anthem performance will serve as Campbell’s final major performance of the year.

Meanwhile, the Steelers will also use the halftime break to honor franchise legends. The Hall of Honor Class of 2025 will be recognized at halftime, following an official enshrinement dinner at Acrisure Stadium the night before.
This year’s class includes:
- Joey Porter Sr. (linebacker)
- Maurkice Pouncey (center)
- Ben Roethlisberger (quarterback)
All three were key contributors to Super Bowl-winning Steelers teams, with Porter and Roethlisberger part of the same championship era.
As for the game, the Dolphins (6-7) are on a four-game winning streak but have just a 0.3% chance of making the postseason, according to PFSN’s playoff simulator. They can only spoil the party for the Steelers (7-6), who are the current AFC North toppers but face a tight battle with the Baltimore Ravens in the division.
