The Green Bay Packers are all set to host the Philadelphia Eagles at one of the best NFL fields, Lambeau Field, in the Week 10 game. It will be the Packers’ Salute to Service game, and a special guest will sing the U.S. national anthem before kickoff.
Sergeant Alison Bardeguez to Sing the National Anthem
NFL’s Salute to Service games are a special recognition, honoring U.S. military members, veterans, and their families.
Five Gold Star families, who have lost a loved one in military service, will be honored on the field pregame. They’ll also help hold the American flag during the national anthem.
Before the anthem, the Packers will honor U.S. Army veteran Chad Wessel as part of their Operation Fan Mail program. U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant Alison Bardeguez will perform the national anthem.
The entire atmosphere during MNF will be patriotic. Players will wear special gear with a camo ribbon design to show support for the U.S. military. The stadium will also feature Salute to Service elements, including goalpost wraps and decals. At halftime, there will be a special tribute on the field as part of the NFL’s Salute to Service campaign to honor active-duty members, veterans, and their families.
Fans in attendance will also receive a Salute to Service car flag as a tribute and keepsake to show their support for the military.
Packers and Eagles Set for a Thrilling Week 10 Battle
The Green Bay Packers (5-2-1) are set to meet the Philadelphia Eagles (6-2). The Packers are coming off a surprising Week 9 loss to the Carolina Panthers, 16–13. The Eagles defeated the New York Giants 38–20 on Oct. 26.
Green Bay’s offense has been impressive this season, and when it comes to defense, both the Packers and Eagles have performed well, ranking at No. 13 and 14 in PFSN’s Defense Impact metrics.
