Kristin Juszczyk has made headlines recently, making clothing for celebrities featured at NFL games. As the wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, her designs have been worn by Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes in recent weeks.

How Did Kristin Juszczyk Meet Her NFL Husband?
Kyle has played in the NFL since 2013 when the Baltimore Ravens drafted him. The NFL star quickly became one of the top players in his position.
Kristin and Kyle married in 2019. They met in 2014 when Kyle was playing in Baltimore. He had just entered the NFL while Kristin was attending Towson University in Maryland.
Leaving college, Kristin got into real estate, gaining a license in Maryland. However, when Kyle signed with the 49ers in 2017, Kristin took the opportunity to pursue her passion.
Moving across the country to San Francisco, Kristin was able to change career paths and forge a career in her passion: fashion design.

Speaking to Niners Nation in 2021, Kristin said, “I was really able to look myself in the mirror and be like, ‘OK, what do you want to do? Do you want to go after real estate? Do you want to take this course all over again? It’s state by state, so I’d have to get my license over here.’”
Becoming an entrepreneur was an ambition for Kristin. She had to juggle a busy lifestyle while also being flexible around the NFL schedule and location (just in case Kyle moved teams again).

“If you’re a woman married to someone in the NFL and you want a career of your own, most of the time, it really has to be something that you are doing on your own,” Kristin said.
“Most jobs you can’t go in just for football season. A lot of people have homes elsewhere, not where they play for their team. So it’s definitely tough navigation for your career path for the women.”
It led Kristin to set up Origin, her own fashion brand with a unique style. “I always say that you don’t go to Origin if you’re just looking for a white T-shirt and plain leggings,” Kristin said.
“You’re going for that signature piece that people ask, ‘Oh my god, where did you get that? That’s so unique.’ That was the overall brand I wanted.”
Kristin was able to make the most of an ever-growing social media following to increase the brand’s publicity and was even able to draw on her network of NFL wives to help her.
“Instagram has been everything for my business. All of the wives have been so supportive of me, and they’ve modeled for me countless times. It really has been so huge with the growth.”

Kyle has reciprocated all the faith that Kristin has shown in him in support of his wife. They even jointly launched a line of hoodies in 2021.
The connection to the NFL didn’t end there for Kristin. She has branched out from the Origin brand and has started designing unique NFL products under a new company — Designs By Kristin.
In the 2023 season, her designs have been worn by celebrities like Simone Biles, Swift, and Mahomes, with her business making headlines in the 2023 NFL Playoffs.

As her biggest supporter, Kyle couldn’t be more proud of his wife. “Just to see her get that recognition — she’s been grinding for years now, working so hard. So I was so happy to see her get her stuff out there. Everybody sees it, and people recognize that it was hers.”
Kyle also said that fashion brands have been reaching out to collaborate with Kristin, and “She has every option on the table right now.” The NFL fullback continued, “She’s going back and forth with a few companies, and some good stuff is going to come from it.”
The designer dreams are about to get much bigger for Kristin with the NFL in contact over potential official merchandise deals. “We have known about Kristin and her work for some time now and had an ongoing dialogue with her,” an NFL spokesman told Sportico. “We’re continuing to explore opportunities to work together.”
