Jalen Hurts married longtime partner Bry Burrows in April 2025, but the couple kept things incredibly private. No public announcements, no flashy photos, just a small ceremony that fit their preference for staying out of the spotlight.
That low-key approach has only fueled curiosity. Hurts is the face of the Philadelphia Eagles and a Super Bowl MVP, while Burrows has built an impressive career away from the cameras, supporting him quietly as his success has grown.

Who Is Jalen Hurts’ Wife, Bry Burrows?
Hurts appeared on “Good Morning America” with Robin Roberts in September to discuss the aftermath of the Super Bowl and aspects of his personal life. When asked about Bry, he said, “Well, you know where your strength comes from. You know where your rock is. Those are things that always give you encouragement anytime you step into something.”
Hurts and Burrows first crossed paths at the University of Alabama around 2016–2017, though they didn’t start seriously dating right away. Their relationship developed gradually over the years, with a few ups and downs along the way.
They made things more public in January 2023 when Burrows joined Hurts on the field to celebrate the Eagles’ NFC Championship win, marking the first time many fans saw them together.
Despite their high-profile status, the couple has kept their relationship out of the spotlight. They share only the occasional shout-out on social media, preferring privacy over public attention.
More on Bry Burrows
Burrows graduated from the University of Alabama in 2017 with dual degrees in Spanish and political science, then returned to earn her MBA from the Manderson School of Business. That academic foundation helped launch her into a strong career in the tech world.
Outside of her day-to-day work, Burrows is dedicated to helping young people break into the tech industry. In 2022, she mentored minority undergraduate students through IBM’s eight-week Accelerate program, which equips rising talent with the business and technology skills needed to jump-start their careers.
After graduation, an article in “People” said she worked at IBM as a senior client experience consultant in Dallas, Texas. She progressed through the company, becoming a sales executive and software financing leader. Today, she works as an artificial intelligence partner.
While the couple has never been one for the tabloids or actively pursued attention, they occasionally appear at events like the Time 100 Next Gala in 2023. Shortly after their engagement was announced, they appeared on the red carpet for the New York premiere of “The Evolution of the Black Quarterback,” a documentary series in which Hurts played a central part.
Most recently, on May 5, 2025, Burrows and Hurts were on the red carpet at the Met Gala, which was shortly after they exchanged their wedding vows. In a cover story for “Men’s Health” that had dropped just days prior, Hurts said of Burrows, “You can call her my wife.”
The Eagles are 8-3 heading into Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season. They find themselves in the pole position to win the NFC East and make another run at the Super Bowl after winning it last season.
Hurts has thrown for 2,284 yards, 17 touchdowns, and one interception in 11 games this season. He has also rushed for 298 yards and eight touchdowns on 80 carries. PFSN’s QB Impact metric has the Eagles star ranked ninth in the league among quarterbacks.
