The Baltimore Ravens will host the Cincinnati Bengals for an AFC North showdown in Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season on Thanksgiving. The Ravens recently took over the top spot in the divisional standings, but the Bengals are within striking distance, trailing by just 2.5 games with seven games remaining for both teams.
The game will be played in prime time on Thursday night, but will receive the Sunday Night Football broadcast. This means it will be televised nationally on NBC and streamed on Peacock, featuring most of their usual broadcast team, with one key change.
Who Will Guide Fans Through Ravens-Bengals on Thanksgiving?
Mike Tirico will headline the broadcast booth in his usual spot as the play-by-play announcer on Thanksgiving night. His usual analyst for NBC games is Cris Collinsworth, but they will be making a change for this game. Jason Garrett will replace Collinsworth to join Tirico in the booth when the Ravens take on the Bengals.
The change is reportedly for this week only, as Collinsworth is expected to resume his usual role with NBC for SNF next week. Their usual sideline reporter, Melissa Stark, is also scheduled to work this pivotal AFC North clash.
Garrett will step into an intriguing situation as the stakes are high in this contest. Cincinnati desperately needs to start stringing wins together and will have a better opportunity at doing so with the return of superstar quarterback Joe Burrow. He is expected to start for the first time since Week 2, when he suffered a toe injury that required surgery.
Burrow will also have the luxury of playing with Ja’Marr Chase, who sat out last week to serve a one-game suspension. This gives them a legitimate opportunity to pull off an upset, though they will reportedly be playing without Tee Higgins and Trey Hendrickson.
The Bengals need to find a way to earn a victory this week, any way they can, because without one, their chances of making the playoffs are all but over. They are hoping for a similar situation that their opponents are currently in, putting together a massive winning streak upon the return of their star quarterback.
The Ravens have won each of their past five consecutive games since getting Lamar Jackson back into their lineup. He currently ranks 15th in PFSN’s Impact Rankings for the position and has led his team back to the top of the AFC North. The Bengals are hoping that Burrow’s return can have a similarly significant impact.
