Tyreek Hill is one of the most dynamic and explosive players in the NFL and has completely changed the Miami Dolphins‘ offensive attack since joining the team last season.
A native of Douglas, Georgia, where Hill attended Coffee High School. If there was any doubt at all, Hill has always been fast. While attending Coffee High, Hill won both the 100 meters and 200 meters at the 2012 Georgia 5A state meet proving that he has always been an absurdly fast man, all his life.
While it looked like Hill may have been destined to stay in track and field as Hill was a USA Today All-American track and field selection in 2012, football would end up being the sport that brought him to where he is today.

Tyreek Hill’s College Football Career
Hill’s college career didn’t start off as a highly sought-after high school recruit. He wasn’t a five-star with a laundry list of college offers; in fact, Hill started his career at a community college.
While attending Garden City Community College, Hill continued to run track in addition to playing football. As a sophomore in 2013, Hill ran for 659 rushing yards and five touchdowns while catching 67 passes for 532 receiving yards.

Despite not garnering much attention out of high school, that would change after his time spent at Garden City. Hill was a highly recruited junior college prospect and decided to take his talents to Oklahoma State to play for the Cowboys.
However, due to off-the-field issues, Hill would only spend one season at OSU before transferring once more following his dismissal from the program and joining the Tigers of West Alabama.
When Was Hill Drafted?
Due largely to the fact his collegiate career was full of uncertainty and off-the-field concerns, Hill wound up getting drafted in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Hill was not even invited to the NFL Combine and had to use the West Alabama Pro Day as the only means to show off his rare abilities.
It was the Kansas City Chiefs that would take the chance in drafting Hill on the last day of the draft as he watched other teams pass him by multiple times.
The Chiefs were taking a chance with Hill and his transgressions off the field. However, the talent was intriguing enough for them to get him into the building to see if they could help in any way to allow Hill to be the best version for himself and the team.
