The San Francisco 49ers were widely viewed as Super Bowl contenders entering 2024, but fell flat amid a spate of injuries. And after taking numerous hits in free agency, the Niners need a strong draft class as much as any team to remain a contender for 2025.
As the 49ers seek to return to the playoffs, let’s take a look at all of San Francisco’s picks entering the 2025 NFL Draft, as well as PFSN’s final mock draft projection for the Niners.

San Francisco 49ers List of Draft Picks
Here are the 49ers’ scheduled picks entering the draft:
- Round 1: No. 11 overall
- Round 2: No. 43
- Round 3: Nos. 75, 100 (special compensatory selection)
- Round 4: Nos. 113, 138 (compensatory selection)
- Round 5: Nos. 147 (from Saints through Commanders), 160 (from Vikings)

NFL Draft Start Time and Schedule
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place at historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisc., continuing a recent trend of warm-weather cities getting the Super Bowl and cooler climates getting the draft. The draft can be seen on ABC, ESPN and the NFL Network.
The Tennessee Titans own the first overall selection and will be on the clock starting at 8 p.m. ET. For the first round, teams are given a maximum of 10 minutes to make their pick.
The second round opens up at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, and two rounds will be concluded on the second day of festivities. Things will wrap up with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday, starting at noon ET and concluding with “Mr. Irrelevant,” pick No. 257.
What Time Will the 49ers Make Their First-Round Pick?
With the 11th overall pick, the 49ers are estimated to make their first selection around 9:30 p.m. ET, based on their position remaining and each team taking 7-9 minutes per pick. That’s assuming each team takes its full allotment of time on the clock, though. Prior years indicate that the 31st pick could be made between roughly 9:20 and 9:40 p.m. ET. Trades always occur, and some teams run to the podium faster than others, but if you tune in 10-15 minutes ahead of that estimation, you should be in a good spot to see this pick be made.
As a reminder, teams have 10 minutes to make their picks in Round 1. That decreases to seven minutes per pick in Round 2, five minutes per pick from Rounds 3-6, and four minutes per pick in Round 7.
PFSN’s Latest Draft Projection for the 49ers
In Jacob Infante’s final seven-round Mock Draft, the 49ers ended up with Marshall edge rusher Mike Green with the 11th overall pick.
“The San Francisco 49ers could go in several different directions after some of the losses they faced in free agency, but they add another top pass-rusher to pair with Nick Bosa in this mock draft.
“After an All-American season in which he racked up 17 sacks, Mike Green is one of the top edge rushers in this NFL Draft. He’s a freak athlete who dominated the Sun Belt with his explosiveness, but he also has the technical skills to shed blocks and get into the backfield.”
