The Green Bay Packers have missed wide receiver Jayden Reed on the field for six games due to injuries. As the Packers host the Philadelphia Eagles in the Week 10 Monday Night Football (MNF) clash, we take a look at Reed’s latest injury status and his return timeline.

Jayden Reed Has Been Out of Action Since Week 2
Reed has not featured for the Packers since leaving the field in Week 2 against the Washington Commanders. The Green Bay wide receiver went up for a contested catch along the sideline and fell awkwardly after being tackled from behind, before landing directly on his left shoulder.
Further tests revealed a broken collarbone, and the team also addressed his lingering foot issue from training camp, resulting in two surgeries in September.
As Reed led the Packers in receiving yards in both 2023 and 2024, losing him and now tight end Tucker Kraft to a season-ending knee injury has stripped the Packers of two of their best yards-after-catch players.
Reed Injury Update: When Will He Return For The Packers Offense?
Reed is nearing a return, and a realistic timetable is finally in place. According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Reed could come off injured reserve as early as Week 13 vs. the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving or Week 14 vs. the Chicago Bears.
According to Silverstein, Reed’s foot is fully healed, and the team is now waiting for the collarbone to complete healing. He reported that MRIs are being used to determine whether the bone has healed enough for Reed to absorb contact and be cleared to play.
WFRV Local 5 Sports’ Cameron Ezeir noted Reed was spotted around the rest of the WRs at practice on Thursday. “His timetable to return is still unknown, but the expectation a couple of months back was sometime in November,” Ezeir posted on X.

He was earlier spotted at the rehab field on Wednesday, though Green Bay has not yet opened his 21-day practice window.
Despite missing Reed and Kraft, Green Bay’s offense has remained efficient. According to PFSN’s Offense Impact Rating, the Packers are graded ‘B’ with a score of 86.8, ranking them in the Top 5 in the NFL 2025 season.
They’re producing 5.9 yards per play and are converting 3rd/4th downs at a strong rate, with the offensive structure working even without Reed’s explosiveness. Getting him back around Thanksgiving only raises the ceiling of a unit that is already performing like a playoff-caliber offense.
