The gambling and football player prop gods have been kind in 2019. The Week 14 NFL player props market is heating up as the temperatures outside go down. Playing with nearly 10 units of profit, this series is looking to turn up the juice heading into the holiday season.
The fantasy playoffs are here and the momentous season has arrived like Mariah Carey Christmas music. It’s everywhere and that is all I am hearing these days.
And in both cases, I’ll allow it.
It’s a good day for a profit, and it’s a good weekend for advancement in your fantasy endeavors, as well as lining your wallets and purses for some holiday spending. Besides, all I want for Christmas…is….I’m sorry, I just can’t finish that line.
On to the picks.
Player Props of the Week – Let Laird Loose
Seriously – it’s time
Miami Dolphins undrafted rookie running back Patrick Laird is ready to lose the “Intern” title, and move right up to pay-grade work. The young, versatile runner is ready to let loose, as many have been waiting for all season.
With Kalen Ballage on IR, this is now officially Laird Season.
Although he gets a Jets team that is allowing a league-low 75 rushing yards per game, Laird’s success may come from the passing attack.
Looking for several quick hitters and dump-offs that can be turned into chunk plays, so the receptions and overall yardage plays are outstanding today.
Week 14 NFL player props over/under: Patrick Laird OVER 50.5 rushing and receiving yards combined – NFL Odds – (-112) 2 Units
Battle of Ohio
This is now the time of year where certain matchups are more important than the overall seasonal record. The Browns and Bengals are both not playing in the post-season, and this is an inner-state and inner-division slug-fest rivalry.
There could be an offensive explosion here, and with the state bragging rights up for grabs, believe that Baker Mayfield will want to win this one at all costs. The Bengals are terrible, at best, and really can’t stop a nose-bleed.
The best news for this game and Mayfield owners and investors is the fact that Andy Dalton is back, so a shoot-out can be in the cards here.
Week 14 NFL player props over/under: Baker Mayfield OVER 245.5 passing yards – NFL Odds – (-112) 1 Unit
Can You Diggs It?
The Vikings are in the thick of the playoff chase, and the Detroit Lions head to town carrying a stigma of being in the bottom three in terms of pass defense in the NFL. It’s safe to say that Kirk Cousins likes that. He may even have a T-Shirt.
Stefon Diggs is the number one threat for the Lions to concern themselves with, and even a double-team here or there won’t stop him from eclipsing the 69.5 receiving yards he needs to cash his over/under line.
Week 14 NFL player props over/under: Stephon Diggs OVER 69.5 receiving yards – NFL Odds (-112) 1 unit
Other Week 14 NFL Player Props Plays
Week 14 NFL player props over/under: Melvin Gordon OVER 76.5 rushing yards – NFL Odds (-112) 1 unit
Week 14 NFL player props over/under: DJ Moore OVER 79.5 receiving yards – NFL Odds (-112) 1 unit
