Is Wan’Dale Robinson Playing? A Look at Whether the Giants WR Is Injured After Slow Start vs. Patriots in Week 13

A brutal start for the New York Giants was compounded by an underwhelming performance from Wan'Dale Robinson against the Patriots.

The New England Patriots are trying to continue their excellent 2025 campaign when they face the New York Giants in a Monday Night Football game. With opposite records at 10-2 and 2-10, the talent level is clearly in favor of the one-seed in the AFC East.

Moreover, for a Giants roster that injuries throughout the season have ravaged, the hope had to be that their remaining players could chip in in a major way. Unfortunately, as the Patriots built a 30-7 first-half lead, it wasn’t a hallmark performance from the squad, with a particular emphasis on a quiet game for Wan’Dale Robinson.

What Happened to Wan’Dale Robinson?

With Malik Nabers going down with a season-ending ACL injury, the wide receiver depth for New York has been on full display throughout the season. But with some excellent quarterbacking from Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston, the rest of the corps has stood up to the challenge.

One of the best surprises of the year for the Giants has been Robinson, who is currently at number 29 on PFSN’s WR Impact, the highest mark of his career after coming in at 89 in 2023 and 59 in 2024.

With totals of 794 receiving yards and three touchdowns, he is producing at a career-best level this season. However, against New England, he was unable to get going in the same way.

Despite being targeted a team-high six times, while making every one of those catches, Robinson could add just 27 yards through the air, as his team managed less than 100 passing yards in the period.

Unfortunately, he did not factor into the game in the second half either, as he finished with seven catches for 34 yards, as the Giants were able to add another touchdown and two-point conversion to reach 15 points on the night.

Despite holding the Patriots to three points in the second half, New England was able to walk away with a comfortable 33-15 victory, leading them to the top of the AFC, while New York dropped to 2-11.
