Jersey reveals are always a hot topic in sports, and oftentimes teams either knock them out of the park or drastically fail.
The Indianapolis Colts recently revealed new uniforms for rivalry week against the Houston Texans. The jerseys are called “Rivalries.”
However, it’s safe to say the NFL world is not a fan of the new look for the Colts.
NFL Fans Hate on Colts Rivalry Uniforms
The Colts’ special uniforms for rivalry week go away from their traditional blue and white colors. The special jerseys are more of a deep gray color with navy blue, and the helmets share that same navy blue color rather than the Colts’ traditional blue.
The helmets then have the white horseshoe, and for the first time ever, the jerseys have the horseshoe integrated on each shoulder.
NFL fans were not impressed with the new threads, though.

“Hmmm kinda look like those gross Bills jerseys. Who thought this was a good idea?” A Cincinnati Bengals fan added.

“So they are dark gray and not black…. yeah no they ugly,” added another fan.
“Very much a lions jersey,” another fan wrote on X.
The “Rivalries” series includes teams from the NFC North and AFC South. The Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, and Tennessee Titans join the Colts, along with the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Minnesota Vikings.

The Colts’ new uniforms ranked near the bottom of the pack pretty consistently. The rankings above are slight outliers, with Indianapolis cracking the top four.

The Texans’ special jerseys ranked pretty high on most rankings, and it shouldn’t be surprising, as the color scheme turns back time to the Houston Oilers a bit, and virtually everyone loved those jerseys.
The Texans and Colts will debut their new threads against each other on Sept. 27 in Indianapolis and then will wear them again on Nov. 19 when the Colts travel to Houston.
The eight teams featured in the “Rivalries” jerseys will wear their respective new uniforms twice in 2026 when they play the rival they are matched up with.
The Jaguars and Titans will be the other rivalry in the AFC South. The Packers and Bears will face off, and the Vikings and Lions will be the other matchup from the NFC North.
