‘Save Him’ — Tyreek Hill’s Viral Upset Sideline Look Sparks Sympathy From NFL Fans During Dolphins’ Defeat

After the Miami Dolphins' TNF loss against the Buffalo Bills, fans reacted to Tyreek Hill's disappointed viral sideline look.

The Miami Dolphins’ 2025-26 season is yet to take off. Riddled by wrong choices and bad plays, the Dolphins — led by Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill — lost their third straight game against the Buffalo Bills.

Fans, of course, were frustrated by another loss. The Dolphins lost 31-21 despite Hill’s effort, the Bills edging ahead during the final quarter.

NFL Fans Left Frustrated After Tyreek Hill’s Sideline Photo Goes Viral During TNF Loss vs. Bills

During the game, fans noticed Hill’s sideline photo during a timeout in the fourth quarter. The wide receiver was seemingly disappointed at the game, the Bills leading 28-21. As the photo went viral, fans were quick to react on Twitter (now X), expressing sympathy for Hill.

“Save him bro,” one fan said.

Fans urged the Dolphins to come up with a trade, demanding that Hill play for a team better suited to his talents. “It’s more than time. Put him out of his misery,” another fan added.

Some even linked him to the Kansas City Chiefs: “Tyreek YOU🫵🏾 are a Kansas City Chief.”

A lot of blame, however, was on Tagovailoa and his inability to bring home a win. “He wants a real quarterback,” one user added.

“He wants to be a chief again so bad,” another user wrote.

One fan didn’t even care about the destination, just hoping for a better team in general: “Trade him for whatever atp just feel bad for him.”

“Free the Cheetah man, Tua is garbage 🗑️ I wish we could afford to bring him to Atlanta. Penix with Tyreek Hill and Drake London would feed families,” another fan suggested.

That being said, Hill’s reaction has certainly kick-started fresh trade rumors. Many continue to link him to the Chiefs, hoping for a successful run with a quarterback like Patrick Mahomes. Some have even linked him to the Atlanta Falcons.

Hill Put On an Impressive Showing for His Team

While the Dolphins have kicked off their campaign with a disastrous 0-3 start, Hill continues to prove his worth as a wide receiver. He secured five of 10 targets for 49 yards and a touchdown, leading the Dolphins in targets and receiving yards.

And despite his impressive performance, mistakes from the rest of the team continue to affect Hill.

Fans even urged Tagovailoa to retire, especially as the QB threw another interception that worsened their position. He finished the game with 22 completions on a grand total of 34 attempts. He also threw for two touchdowns and one interception.

The Dolphins’ next game is scheduled for September 29 against the New York Jets at Hard Rock Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:15 p.m. EST.
