Instead, it has been global pop superstar Taylor Swift, who has been dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for nearly two years. Despite all the attention, Kelce recently shared that their relationship feels surprisingly natural.
Travis Kelce Opens Up About His ‘Organic’ Relationship With Taylor Swift
There hasn’t been a recent relationship more in the spotlight than Kelce’s and Swift’s. The singer-songwriter is one of the most famous people in the world, and the Chiefs’ tight end is one of the NFL’s most well-known players.

Despite millions of people watching their every move, Kelce told GQ in his recent cover interview that their relationship feels completely normal when it’s just him and Swift behind closed doors.
“When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love,” Kelce told GQ.
“It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out, but I would say that it’s as normal of… It happened very organically, even though from a media standpoint, it was being tracked. It still happened very organically.”
When a relationship is constantly in the spotlight, it’s easy for outsiders to think it’s superficial or just about fame. But Kelce says that’s not the case with him and Swift. Instead, they connect deeply because of how much they have in common.

“When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with,” Kelce told the magazine. “We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values.”
Kelce hasn’t often spoken this openly about his relationship with the superstar, but it’s clear he sees it as far from the media frenzy. To him, it is just a normal relationship, and that is what makes it special.
The world will get an even closer look at Kelce and Swift’s relationship when she appears on the tight end’s podcast. Kelce hosts the show with his future Hall of Fame brother, Jason, called “New Heights.” The episode airs on Wednesday, August 13.

Kelce is entering his 13th NFL season in 2025, and as she has for the past few years, Swift will no doubt be at Arrowhead Stadium cheering him on as he aims to help the Chiefs hunt down another Super Bowl.
