Shae Lawrence is only six months old, but she is already stealing the show at Jacksonville Jaguars training camp. On the same campus where her father, Trevor Lawrence, earns every cent of a new five-year, $275 million extension, the infant made her first appearance at Miller Electric Center, turning a routine reporting day into a family moment the whole franchise noticed.
That scene, along with Trevor Lawrence’s massive contract and last season’s struggles, frames a pivotal summer for Jacksonville. The quarterback remains the face of the offense and, after an offseason filled with trade chatter that ultimately went nowhere, he is back for what could be a defining fifth season.
How Did Trevor Lawrence’s Family Visit Light Up Jaguars Training Camp?
Veterans reported Tuesday, and the organization dubbed the session “Visit Dad at Work Day.” Lawrence’s wife, Marissa, brought Shae to practice, marking the family’s first public appearance at camp. The couple, high-school sweethearts, married in April 2021, just weeks before Jacksonville selected the Clemson star first overall in the draft, and welcomed Shae in January.
Marissa shared several photos from the day on Instagram, captioning the post:
“Visit dad at work day 💙 🐆 Camp Year 5! So excited for this year and couldn’t be more proud of 16! We love you babe”

Can Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars Bounce Back in 2025?
Lawrence has appeared in 60 games, throwing for 13,815 yards, 69 touchdowns, and 46 interceptions while completing 63.3 percent of his passes. He has also added 1,083 rushing yards and 14 scores on 231 carries.
Despite the lucrative extension, the Jaguars stumbled to a 4-13 finish last season, their worst mark since Lawrence’s rookie year. Jacksonville went 2-8 in the ten contests he started, and the quarterback produced 2,045 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and seven interceptions with a 60.6 percent completion rate. He chipped in 119 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 26 attempts.
One bright spot was rookie wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., who was selected 23rd overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. Thomas Jr. posted 1,282 receiving yards and ten touchdowns on 87 catches, earning Pro Bowl honors.
Hoping to reignite the offense, Jacksonville traded its 2026 first-round pick to move up three spots in the 2025 NFL Draft and select two-way star Travis Hunter at No. 2. The organization believes that pairing Hunter with Thomas Jr. can help Lawrence recapture his early-career form.
With family support on the sideline and new playmakers in the huddle, the Jaguars’ franchise quarterback heads into Year 5 determined to turn last season’s disappointment into a long-overdue playoff push.
