Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld’s pregnancy announcement became one of the most heartwarming moments around the NFL this week.
Among those sharing their excitement about the news were the wives of fellow NFL quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence and Jared Goff.
Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld Make Major Pregnancy Announcement
Allen and Steinfeld announced the pregnancy through a joint Instagram post, featuring a snowy photo shoot where Allen kissed Steinfeld’s baby bump and cradled her stomach. The post was simply captioned with a red heart emoji, with Allen adding, “I love you,” in the comments.
The announcement came just one day after Steinfeld’s 29th birthday and followed her reveal in her Beau Society newsletter, where the pregnancy was listed as her No. 29 favorite moment of 2025.
Steinfeld and Allen, who were married on May 31 after getting engaged in November 2024, have largely kept their relationship private since going public in spring 2023. As the post gained traction, reactions began flooding in from across the NFL community, including from the partners of two high-profile quarterbacks.
Christen Goff and Marissa Lawrence Share Heartfelt Messages
Christen Goff, the wife of Detroit Lions quarterback, was among the first to publicly react to the fantastic news. Commenting under the Instagram post, she wrote, “So, so, so happy for you guys,” accompanied by a white heart emoji.

Marissa Lawrence, the wife of the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, also shared a warm response to the announcement. Reacting to the post, she commented, “Congratulations,” accompanied by an emoji of a face holding back tears and a heart emoji.
Buffalo Bills Firmly In Playoff Hunt Thanks to Allen
The Bills remain firmly in the middle of the AFC playoff race heading into the final four weeks of the regular season. At 9-4, Buffalo sits second in the AFC East behind the 11-2 New England Patriots but continues to control its postseason destiny.
The Bills close the season with road trips to New England and Cleveland before hosting the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Jets. The divisional matchup in Week 15 against the Patriots could be significant.

Buffalo has won two straight games and owns a substantial point differential, keeping it well-positioned in both the division and Wild Card picture.
According to PFSN’s NFL Playoff Predictor, the Bills remain one of the favorites to secure an AFC playoff spot, with a 92.5% chance of reaching the postseason. However, their odds of winning the AFC East sit at just 14.7%.
Much of Buffalo’s optimism continues to be backed by Allen’s MVP-caliber season as he currently ranks first in PFSN’s QB Impact Rankings with a 91.3 score before the Bills face the Patriots at Gillette Stadium for a 1 p.m. EST clash on Sunday.
