How Tall Is Tre Harris?

Harris stands 6’2 3/8″. That would put him in the top half of NFL receivers. Of wide receivers who caught 20+ passes in 2024, three stood 6’5″. While Mike Evans, Allen Lazard, and Devaughn Vele were at the top of that list, Greg Dortch was the only player measuring 5’7″ or shorter.

How Much Does Harris Weigh?

At 205 pounds, Harris will also make the upper half of the league’s receivers in weight. The heaviest receiver on the aforementioned list is DK Metcalf, at 235 pounds. On the other end of the list, KaVontae Turpin was the lightest receiver to catch 20+ passes last season. He weighs in at 153 pounds, 22 pounds lighter than Dortch, despite being two inches taller.

For comparison, 6’2″, 205 pounds is identical to Indianapolis Colts receiver Adonai Mitchell.

Harris joined Louisiana Tech, where he spent three years with the Bulldogs. He caught just one pass in his freshman year, as he transitioned to wide receiver, but found his feet thereafter. Over the following two years, Harris caught 105 passes for 1,497 yards and 14 touchdowns.

That eye-catching form prompted a transfer to Ole Miss, allowing Harris the opportunity to showcase his obvious talent in the SEC. In his first year with Ole Miss, Harris made 54 receptions for 985 yards and eight touchdowns. Injury limited him to just eight games in 2024, which makes his only 1,000-yard receiving season even more special.

Harris posted 60 receptions for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns in 224, establishing himself as one of the top receiver prospects in the draft.

How Fast Was Harris’ 40-Yard Dash?

Harris recorded a 40-yard dash time of 4.54 seconds. That’s the same time that Courtland Sutton, Gabe Davis, and Cedric Tillman ran at their respective NFL Combines.

Harris’ NFL Outlook

Harris projects to be a Day 2 pick in this year’s draft, as several receiver prospects come off the board in Rounds 2 and 3. He’ll hope to land on a team that needs immediate receiver help on the outside. Harris’ size and physicality on the outside could make him a very useful NFL asset, as the continuous improvement of disguised defenses gives offensive coordinators headaches.
