Travis Kelce may not make a big deal out of birthdays, but fans around the world are celebrating the Chiefs star on his 36th birthday. While fiancée Taylor Swift hasn’t shared a public message, she made subtle nods to Kelce in her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl.
Meanwhile, Kelce’s mother, Donna, stole the spotlight with a simple yet heartfelt three-word birthday message.

Donna celebrated her son’s 36th birthday by reposting a sweet throwback photo from a fan page tribute on her Instagram Stories. The image shows a baby Travis being pushed in a swing on a playground, seemingly by his older brother, Jason Kelce. Over the photo, Donna, 72, wrote a simple but heartfelt:
“Happy Birthday, Travis!!! 🎉”
The fan page tribute included several other pictures of the Kelce brothers together over the years, ending with a few snapshots of Travis with Taylor Swift. It also shared a touching birthday poem honoring the Chiefs’ star:
“His name is Travis Kelce
and he was born in 1989.
A kid from Cleveland Heights
became the man who reached new heights
not because he never fell,
but because every fall
became part of the climb.
He’s thirty-six today,
and the story’s still being written
in red and gold,
in laughter and light,
in every brother who believes
in another.
Happy Birthday, Travis Kelce
the heart of a kingdom,
the soul of 87,
and proof that true love
was always part of the playbook. ❤️🔥”
With Kelce in the twilight of his career, the Chiefs also embraced a nostalgic theme for his birthday, sharing an Instagram post titled “TK Through the Years”, featuring a heartfelt slideshow that traced his journey from a teenage boy to a Super Bowl champion celebrating with the trophy.
The outpouring of love and tributes highlights more than just a birthday. It is a celebration of Kelce’s legendary career.
He holds the NFL record for most consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons by a tight end, accomplishing the feat seven times in a row. Kelce reached 12,000 career receiving yards faster than any tight end in league history, doing so in just 172 games.
He has earned 10 Pro Bowl selections and four first-team All-Pro honors. Kelce also helped the Chiefs win three Super Bowl championships in 2020, 2023, and 2024.
Even in the first four games of the 2025 season, Kelce continues to impress. He has recorded 15 receptions for 182 yards and one touchdown and ranks 14th in PFSN’s TE Impact metric.
