The intimate ceremony — held in the Blue Ridge Mountains — featured guests dressed in all black while the bride and groom wore white. But it wasn’t just the scenic backdrop or the guest list that got people talking.

Hunter’s wedding day look was teased ahead of time by BarberG on Instagram, with behind-the-scenes footage also shared by Hellion “Boog” Knight, head of operations for Young Money APAA. Drones were spotted circling the venue, as Knight joked that “TMZ type people” were trying to sneak footage.
The event featured a three-course meal, including lobster or chicken with garlic mashed potatoes, and the couple’s first dance was set to Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You.” A firework display capped off the night in dramatic fashion.
A Love Story Years in the Making
Hunter and Lenee began dating back in 2022 after connecting online.
“He just wasn’t my type,” she said in a video the couple posted in October of that year. But the friendship eventually blossomed into a relationship that’s taken them across states — from Georgia to Mississippi to Colorado to Florida.
Despite the couple’s joy, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing under the spotlight. During Hunter’s Heisman Trophy appearance, Lenee faced harsh criticism online, prompting a public response from both herself and Hunter. Even WNBA star Angel Reese stepped in to defend her.
Lenee, 23, stepped away from social media for months but returned with a post-wedding TikTok showing off her dress and ring alongside her new husband.
Now, after turning his NFL dream into reality, graduating from college, and getting married all within a 30-day span, the Jaguars star will be able to focus on preparing for the upcoming NFL season.
