‘Worst Analyst Ever’ – Calls Mount for $180,000,000 NFL Announcer To Be Fired After ‘Painful Broadcast’

NFL fans are calling for the firing of one of the highest-paid commentators in the NFL after a brutal display for CBS Sports on Sunday.

The Philadelphia Eagles have finally seen their first loss of the season as they fell to the Denver Broncos 21-17 in what was a nail-biting game. Despite entering the fourth quarter down 17-3, Bo Nix and the Broncos were able to come back and overcome the deficit for an incredible victory.

The Eagles failed to convert a last-second attempt at a touchdown after making their best effort to score with just one minute remaining in the game.

That said, while the game was incredible, there was something else that NFL fans couldn’t stop talking about throughout the entire game that had nothing to do with the play on the field.

Fans Call for Tony Romo’s Job After Rough Broadcasting Performance

Throughout the game, fans took to X to voice their frustration about NFL legend Tony Romo, as he had some questionable commentary throughout the game. One fan even went as far as to say he’s the “worst analyst ever” and that the broadcast was “painful.”

Somebody else was also in agreement, asking, “Is there a worse commentator than Tony Romo?”

Another fan even suggested that CBS should fire Romo, saying, “Tony Romo is no longer good at what he does. CBS should cut ties.”

Other fans called him “annoying” and “insufferable” as an analyst, making it clear that fans don’t like Romo in his current position.

Numerous fans pointed out that Romo seemed to be showing some Bias against the Eagles, being an ex-Dallas Cowboy, with one fan saying, “This broadcast is exhausting. Tony Romo just openly rooting for the Broncos for three hours.”

As if all of this backlash wasn’t bad enough, things get worse for CBS. Not only is Romo one of CBS’s biggest announcers, but he’s also their highest paid, with a whopping 10-year $180 million contract.

Romo is only behind Tom Brady as the second-highest-paid announcer in the NFL, which makes CBS look terrible considering all the backlash he’s getting. It could be the fact that it was an Eagles game, but fans clearly weren’t happy with his performance.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that after the Buffalo Bills beat the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs last year, fans were also coming for Romo’s job then. If this recurring theme continues, it could be time to part ways with the NFL legend.

Worst announcer ever. Lack of additional value to the game. Seems unprofessional, unprepared and makes it unwatchable.

I cant stand Romo. He just babbles and babble. Like John Smoltz on the MLB.
