Tom Brady Pays Tribute to WNBA Star Sophie Cunningham With Meme

Brady certainly enjoyed his weekend, and he shared a celebratory post on Instagram featuring one of the best memes circulating. Sophie Cunningham is a WNBA player, and she got into a confrontation during the Indiana Fever’s recent game.

She was seen pointing at her opponent in a funny manner and photos and videos have taken over social media. Brady sent a picture of Cunningham pointing, wearing an American flag outfit, and captioned it, “Happy 4th of July to you.”

This meme has taken over social media, with plenty of captions accompanying it. Here are some of the best Cunningham memes circulating on X. One user sent one with the caption, “Me when my husband asks where something is that is right in front of his face.”

Another had the caption, “My husband when another Amazon package I didn’t tell him about arrives.”

Cunningham has been known to get into some scuffles during her time in the WNBA, but she never expected to be part of a meme that went this viral.

The White House even shared a version of the meme. NFL analyst Warren Sharp also shared it with a caption that said, “OL seeing a DL flinch on a hard count.”

We see that every week in the NFL when the offensive linemen stand up and point at a defensive lineman who flinched to try and get a penalty call.

Brady may be retired from football, but he is all over what is happening on social media. Ever since his career ended, he has seemingly become more engaged on X and Instagram, and many fans have enjoyed that.

His commentating career with Fox is taking off, and it is cool to see a different side of Brady than the serious one we saw on Sundays.
