Tom Brady has had a busy 2025 as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. His offseason thus far has included bringing in a new general manager in John Spytek, a new head coach in Pete Carroll, and an upcoming draft in less than a week. Stressful yet exciting times for Brady would be an apt description, considering he also has Year 2 coming up in the commentator booth for Fox Sports.
However, Brady took some time out of his busy offseason to share more lighthearted news from his Instagram page to recognize two very important people who significantly impacted his life: his parents.
Tom Brady Recognizes His Parents on Their 56th Anniversary
Brady posts a picture of his parents from their wedding day on Instagram with the caption, “56 years ago in Browerville, MN… Happy Anniversary to the most incredible parents anyone could ask for ❤️ Over the years, you’ve shown our whole family what it truly means to build a life of love, laughter and faith. You’ve taught us how to support one another, how to grow together, and how to face life’s challenges. We’re endlessly grateful for everything you’ve done and continue to do for us. Thank you for being the heart of our family. Here’s to 56 amazing years—and many more to come!”

It is certainly nice to see Brady take a step out of the football spotlight to share some more human updates. His parents have significantly influenced his life, and Brady has consistently shared emotional anecdotes, especially about his father.
The parents of the seven-time Super Bowl champion and three-time NFL Most Valuable Player are also the grandparents of Brady’s three children: sons John and Benjamin and daughter Vivian.
The Road Ahead for Brady
Looking beyond his parent’s milestone celebration, Brady’s attention turns to the future of the Las Vegas Raiders. The team holds the sixth pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, continuing what has already been an eventful offseason.
It will be interesting to see the direction in which the Raiders chart their future in their first draft under Brady’s minority ownership and with new head coach, Pete Carroll, an old friend of Brady’s and former New England Patriots coach himself, at the helm.
After commemorating the 56th anniversary of his parents exchanging wedding rings in marriage, Brady will try to acquire another ring as well. In his case, it would be his eighth Super Bowl ring and first as a minority NFL owner.
