The air in Denver seemed to have taken over Joe Buck in last night’s broadcast of Monday Night Football. While neither he nor Troy Aikman was too impressed with the Denver Broncos’ demolition of the Cincinnati Bengals, 28-3, fans were able to come away from the game with a viral moment as Buck put his singing skills to the test.
NFL Fans React to Joe Buck Randomly Singing in the First Quarter of MNF
The last thing NFL fans expected to hear coming back from commercial break was Buck putting his legendary voice to the test. Aikman joked that the “mile-high air is getting to him” as Buck’s vocals were on full display.
While the Bengals were leading, 3-0 at the time, they were about to give up 28 unanswered points.

Famous, the Broncos play in the “Mile-High” city of Denver, which as an elevation of 5,280 feet above sea level. This can lead to longer field goals and even players struggling to catch their breath in the thin air.
“Joe Buck really is a national treasure,” one fan wrote. Since Buck and Aikman moved to ESPN, they’ve won fans over with how loose and laid back the duo has been.
Another commented, “Joe Buck really out here thinking he’s the next The Weeknd. Troy Aikman looking like he’d rather take another hit from Ray Lewis than hear that note again.” While the Weeknd comparison may be a bit far-fetched, Buck truly gave it his all coming back from a commercial.

A third fan said, “Joe Buck went all in on Let It Whip,” while another replied, “Joe Buck hitting his peak in the twilight years.” It’s hard to argue when Buck peaked, though some believe the time is now.
Even at 56 years old, he and Aikman, 58, have done everything in their power to entertain fans weekly. They never sugarcoat anything and aren’t afraid to call out a team like the Bengals when they aren’t playing well. This is also a busy time for Buck — the MLB Playoffs start Tuesday, and he will be calling some of those games, as well.
“You know it’s a blowout when Joe Buck starts auditioning for The Voice mid‑broadcast,” someone pointed out. This fan commented, “Joe Buck singing “Let It Whip!!!” was not on my bingo card!!” while another added, “Joe Buck out here trying to start a side career in singing.”
After Monday’s victory, which improved the Broncos to 2-2, Broncos QB Bo Nix now has a C+ grade in PFSN’s QB Impact scale. The Bengals, also now 2-2, are led by backup QB Jake Browning, who has earned an F so far.
