Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell has had one of the toughest starts to his NFL career, suffering two season-ending injuries and being shot once in his two years in the league.
He recently got inked with a huge tattoo on his leg, and unless you are a horror fan, it is bound to look scary.

Tank Dell Gets Inked With Iconic Characters From Horror Films
Dell is currently recovering from a devastating knee injury he suffered in December and has undergone a pair of operations since. He now had to go under anaesthesia to get a massive tattoo on his leg, as shared by NFL Insider Dov Kleiman in an X (formerly Twitter) post on Saturday.
The tattoo features iconic characters from horror films, including Michael Myers of Halloween and Chucky, the antagonist of the “Child’s Play” horror franchise. The ink runs from his right thigh to his ankle, while his injury was on the left one.
Insane: Texans WR Tank Dell went under anesthesia for a crazy leg sleeve tattoo that is Horror-themed.
It includes Michael Myers, Scream, Chucky, and the Joker.
Dell is coming into this season with a kill-or-be-killed mindset and is ready to dominate the league.

Dell’s 2024 season ended in Week 16 when he took multiple hits during a touchdown catch against the Kansas City Chiefs. Dell’s teammates, visibly emotional, took a knee and then gathered around him as he was lifted onto the cart and taken off the field.
QB C.J Stroud looked particularly distressed as he was comforted by his teammates and head coach DeMeco Ryans.
The receiver was eventually diagnosed to have a dislocated kneecap and torn ACL in addition to having torn his medial collateral and lateral collateral ligaments as well as damaging his meniscus. He underwent two surgeries later, with the last one being in March this year, and is expected to miss the entirety of the 2025 season.
Dell finished the season with 51 receptions for 667 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games. It was relatively a modest season for Dell compared to his rookie year, when he averaged 9.5 yards per target and 64.5 yards per game.
He suffered a fractured fibula in Week 13 of the 2023 season in the game against the Denver Broncos, and ended the season with 47 receptions for 709 yards. Dell also scored seven touchdowns as a rookie on 709 yards, adding another three in 2024. He has also carried the ball 20 times in his career for 94 yards across both seasons for the Texans.
With Dell expected to miss the entire season, the Texans needed to fill the hole left by his absence and selected Iowa State wide receiver Jayden Higgins with their first pick of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Houston doubled down on the receiving need in the third round and selected Higgins’ college teammate Jaylin Noel.
