The Houston Texans pulled off a massive win over the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football, and their chances to make the playoffs have improved.
The Texans held on for a 23-19 win over the Bills as Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen drove the team down the field late in the fourth quarter.

Now, though, the Texans have won their sixth straight game and now sit 6-5 overall. The Texans’ defense dominated Allen all night long, sacking the reigning NFL MVP eight times for the loss of 70 yards. Allen finished Thursday’s game by going 25-of-35 passing for 262 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions.
This comes on the heels of Allen throwing six touchdown passes last week.

NRG Stadium has not been a friendly place for Allen during his career. He led the Bills downfield late in the fourth quarter, trying to get his team in position for a go-ahead touchdown. On a fourth-down play, Allen threw an interception to the Texans’ Calen Bullock, and that wrapped up the victory for Houston.
Woody Marks led the Texans in rushing with 16 carries for 74 yards and no touchdowns. Both teams traded field goals in the second half, but the Bills threatened late. It took a herculean effort by the Texans’ defense to stop Allen from making one of his patented late-game comebacks.
Bullock had two interceptions for the Texans, including the game-clinching one in the final seconds. The Texans will have a tough test in their next game, though, as they face Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts.
