Format of The World Tennis League

The event consists of four teams, each with four players. Each team will play against all the other three teams in a single round-robin format. Each tie will consist of four matches. Each match will be a single-set match, including a men’s and women’s singles match, along with two doubles matches, which will be decided (Whether men’s, women’s, or mixed) by the team winning the toss.

Teams will receive one point for each game won in the sets, and the team winning the most combined games will win the tie. However, there is a special condition that stipulates that if the team trailing in the overall score wins the fourth set, then the tie will go to overtime, allowing the losing team to level the score. However, the leading team needs to win only one game in overtime to finish the tie.

In case overtime ends with scores tied, there will be a 10-point tiebreaker to decide the winners, who will get two extra points for winning the tiebreak.
