Alejandro Davidovich Fokina is all set to participate in his third final of the season. After missing the chance at both Delray Beach and Acapulco, the Spaniard now has a chance to secure his first title of the season at the Citi Open. Besides his commendable coaching team, Davidovich Fokina now has one more firm supporter by his side.
However, this time, not as a girlfriend but as his beloved wife, Paloma Amatiste.
Here’s everything to know about their successful relationship, which transitioned from years of dating to finally getting married in June 2025.
Everything About Alejandro Davidovich Fokina’s Wife, Paloma Amatiste
Born in Rome but raised near Marbella, Spain, Amatiste works professionally as a fashion designer, having held roles with major brands like Zara and Mango. She is known to bring a Mediterranean flair and Italian heritage into her creative work.
Described as low-profile on social media, she was nevertheless seen accompanying Davidovich Fokina at high-profile tennis events, such as courtside at the 2023 Laver Cup and other ATP tournaments.

Davidovich Fokina and Amatiste began their love story in early 2023. They were introduced through Paloma’s brother, Gianmarco, who served as a sparring partner for him on tour. They quickly grew close, and in a romantic gesture on Jan. 31, 2024, the Spaniard proposed to Paloma beside Rome’s iconic Trevi Fountain.
Throughout the early years of their relationship, Amatiste quietly supported Davidovich Fokina by attending tournaments.
What To Know About the Star-Studded Dream Wedding
Davidovich Fokina and Amatiste got married on June 14, 2025, in a beautiful beachside ceremony at the Trocadero Sotogrande, part of the Finca Cortesin resort in Casares, Spain. The ceremony featured a stunning setup with white flowers and a Mediterranean view, followed by a lively reception with music, flamenco dancing, a saxophonist, and fireworks.
Friends and fellow tennis players joined the celebration, including Arthur Fils, who served as the official witness along with Carlos Gómez-Herrera, Ivana Nedved (Sebastian Korda’s fiancée), and Amy Pederick (Alexei Popyrin’s partner).
Adding a humorous touch to the story, the Spanish ATP pro admitted to the fact that he wanted to plan another ceremony, as the last one ended up quickly.
“After the ceremony, everything went by so quickly,” he said in a lighthearted admission at the Citi DC Open. “My wife and I want to do another wedding because it went so quick! But it costs a lot of money, so I don’t think we’ll do another one.”
Davidovich Fokina is all set to compete against Alex de Minaur at the Citi Open finals on July 27. The upcoming showdown will mark their sixth meeting, with the Spaniard already holding a slight 3-2 lead.
