Tommy Paul’s fiancée, Paige Lorenze, celebrated her 28th birthday on January 26, 2026. Following his exit from the 2026 Australian Open, the former World No. 8 shared a heartfelt birthday message for Lorenze, which drew a response from Coco Gauff.

Lorenze is a New York-based social media fashion influencer, content creator, and entrepreneur. She graduated from the Parsons School of Design and founded Dairy Boy, a clothing brand, in 2021.

Tommy Paul Heartwarming Birthday Message to Fiancée Paige Lorenze Draws Reaction From Coco Gauff

Paul and Lorenze have been together for nearly four years and publicly announced their relationship in 2022. The couple became engaged in July 2025 after three years of dating.

Recently, the former World No. 8 took to social media and shared a series of pictures of Lorenze, along with some images of the two of them together, celebrating her birthday. He wished the social media influencer a “happy birthday” and called her his “better half.”

“Happy birthday to my better half ❤️ Have a feeling this year will be the best one yet,” Paul captioned his Instagram post.

Paul’s birthday post for Lorenze caught Gauff’s attention, and she liked the post in response.

On the tennis side of things, Paul was seeded 19th at the 2026 Australian Open. He began his campaign by defeating compatriot Aleksandar Kovacevic 6-4, 6-3, 6-3 in the first round, followed by a win against Thiago Agustín Tirante 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 in the second round.

Paul advanced to the fourth round after his third-round opponent, 14th seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, withdrew from their match after the second set, with the score at 6-1, 6-1, 0-0 (retd). In the fourth round, he faced top seed Carlos Alcaraz and lost 6-7(6), 4-6, 5-7.

On the women’s side of the draw, Gauff is seeded third at the 2026 Australian Open. She began her campaign by defeating Kamilla Rakhimova 6-2, 6-3 in the first round, followed by victories over Olga Danilović (6-2, 6-2) and compatriot Hailey Baptiste (3-6, 6-0, 6-3) in the second and third rounds, respectively.

The former World No. 2 advanced to the quarterfinals after overcoming 19th seed Karolína Muchová with scores of 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 in the fourth round. Looking ahead, Gauff is set to face 12th seed Elina Svitolina in the last eight.

The winner of the quarterfinal match between Gauff and Svitolina at the Melbourne Major will advance to face Aryna Sabalenka in the Australian Open semifinals.
