Taylor Fritz recently beat Ben Shelton. However, it did not happen at the ongoing Wimbledon Championships. Recently, the duo went head-to-head on how many Central Cee songs they could name in thirty seconds.
How Taylor Fritz Fared Versus Ben Shelton in Central Cee Song Naming Channel
The ATP Tour recently interviewed the two young Americans, asking them about their knowledge of Central Cee’s music.
Fritz was able to rattle off several of the rapper’s numbers, including Obsessed with You, Loading, GBP, Entrapreneur, Sprinter, Doja, Let Go, and Trojan Horse.
To Shelton’s grief, he managed to name only two songs, Khabib and GBP.
“Wow, this is really bad,” Shelton exclaimed after his performance.
Fritz, the victor, remarked, “He (Shelton) choked really bad on Central Cee.”

Fritz later shared the video on his Instagram stories with a two-word caption in which he tagged Shelton.
“Get wrecked,” wrote Fritz.

Oakley Neil Caesar-Su, known professionally as Central Cee, is a British rapper widely regarded as one of the most prominent figures in the UK rap scene.
Central Cee’s first full-length studio album, ‘Can’t Rush Greatness,’ topped the album chart in the UK and several other countries on its release in January this year. It debuted at No. 9 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
Before his full-length debut, the rapper had released two mix tapes and five EPs (extended plays).
How Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton Have Fared at Wimbledon 2025
Both Fritz and Shelton have made it into the quarterfinals of the ongoing Wimbledon championships.
Fritz, last year’s U.S. Open runner-up, booked his passage into the last 8 when his opponent, Jordan Thompson, quit after about 40 minutes into their encounter with injuries that he’d been dealing with throughout the tournament.
“It is not the way I want to go through,” Fritz said in his post-match interview. “I was really excited to play Jordan today. I was excited to play some good tennis and it is just sad.”
The American has been in fine form on grass this summer, having already won two tournaments on the surface this year.
He will next face Russia’s Karen Khachanov, who secured his spot with a dominant 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 victory over Kamil Majchrzak.
Shelton, too, has advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Lorenzo Sonego in four sets 3-6, 6-1, 7-6, 7-5. Notably, the lefty has made the quarterfinals at Wimbledon for the first time in his career.
Shelton will face World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the quarterfinals, who made it through after his opponent, Grigor Dimitrov, had to retire during the third set due to a pectoral muscle injury. Dimitrov had taken a two-sets-to-love lead in the encounter when he was forced to retire.
Sinner has a 5-1 record against Shelton. The World No. 1 defeated the American earlier this year at the Australian Open in the semifinals and in the Round of 16 at Wimbledon last year.
