Where Will Taylor Fritz Compete Next?
Following the conclusion of his campaign at the 2025 BOSS Open in Stuttgart, Fritz is set to compete in the 2025 Queen’s Club Championships. The tournament will take place from Jun. 16 to Jun. 22, 2025, and the matches will be played on the outdoor grass courts of the Queen’s Club in London, United Kingdom.
Along with Fritz, players like former champion Carlos Alcaraz, Holger Rune, Alex de Minaur, Ben Shelton, and Frances Tiafoe will also compete at this grass court tournament in London. However, defending champion Tommy Paul has withdrawn from the tournament due to an abdominal strain.
In 2024, Fritz triumphed over Taro Daniel and Milos Raonic before being edged out by Jordan Thompson in the quarterfinals. This year, he enters the ATP 500 grass court tournament as the third seed and will kick off his campaign against qualifier Corentin Moutet in the first round.
This matchup will mark the maiden meeting between the former World No. 4 and Moutet on the ATP Tour. The winner will advance to face either Jacob Fearnley or another qualifier, Alex Bolt, in the second round.
In addition to his singles competition, Fritz will also participate in the doubles event at the 2025 Queen’s Club Championships. He has teamed up with Jiří Lehečka, and the duo will face the Australian pair of De Minaur and Alexei Popyrin in their opening match.
In 2023, Fritz and Lehečka finished as runners-up after losing to the pair of Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek in the final. In 2024, Fritz partnered with Karen Khachanov, and they also reached the championship match, only to be defeated by Neal Skupski and Michael Venus.
