What Else Do We Know About the 2025 Laver Cup?
As mandated by the Laver Cup format, team lineups are revealed a day ahead, Thursday for Friday’s matches, Friday for Saturday’s, and Saturday for Sunday’s.
All matches are best-of-three sets with ad scoring. If the first two sets are split, a 10-point match tiebreak is played. Each player must play one singles match during the first two days, but cannot exceed two singles appearances in total. At least four players must compete in doubles, and no duo can be repeated.
Interestingly, the Laver Cup is ATP-certified, which ensures all match results contribute to official player stats and head-to-head records. However, no ranking points are on offer.
Players will receive their respective appearance fees based on their ATP rankings after the 2025 Roland-Garros. Those on the winning team collect $250,000 each, with no payout for the losing team.
