Stefanos Tsitsipas recently gave fans a quiet look into his life away from the court. After his Canadian Open campaign ended in the Round of 64, the Greek shared a 20-slide photo dump, including both his global travels with his girlfriend and his team in his 2026 season.
Tsitsipas has already traveled to Mason, Ohio, for the 2026 Cincinnati Open.

The Instagram post opens with Tsitsipas and his girlfriend, Kristen Thoms, enjoying a mountainside moment in Switzerland, where the Greek star achieved his best on-court result of the year. In July, Tsitsipas won the Swiss Open title in Gstaad, ending a 16-month trophy drought and securing his 13th career ATP singles title.
A few other photos show the couple posing together while wearing matching glasses, with Tsitsipas playfully referring to Thoms as a “Special guest” and the “Wizard of pink 🧞♀️💕.”

Thoms is a former American collegiate tennis player who represented both the University of Iowa and Florida Atlantic University, competing from 2014 to 2016. The couple started dating in 2025, and Tsitsipas made their relationship official in January 2026 with a video posted on X that showed them on a trip to Namibia. She is also a model and social media influencer.
“She’s the person I’m always seeking out for in difficult match moments. She’s been there for me for a very long time. I feel like she knows about tennis, and that’s what makes her special to be on the court. She’s played tennis herself, knows the psychology of tennis,” Tsitsipas told reporters at the Madrid Open.
The 27-year-old also used the photodump to spotlight his close-knit team, calling them the “Vanda Squad 🫂🎥.” Vanda Pharmaceuticals has an official brand partnership with Tsitsipas. The post also includes several moments from Australia, including a clip of a koala, a beachside photo of Tsitsipas holding a coconut, and a photo and a video clip featuring his dog.
On the tennis side, barring his title run in Gstaad, the 2026 season has otherwise been a difficult campaign for Tsitsipas. Following a string of early exits, he slipped outside the world’s top 85.
Although he is currently ranked World No. 53, following his Gstaad triumph, his lower ranking at the time the entry list was released meant the former World No. 3 had to go through qualifying at a Masters 1000 event for the first time in years to earn his place at the Canadian Open in Montreal. He reached the main draw but lost to 19-year-old Brazilian João Fonseca.
Tsitsipas’ ranking rise also came too late to secure a direct spot in the Cincinnati Open main draw. However, he received a lucky break on Sunday, August 9, when World No. 1 Jannik Sinner withdrew from the tournament, handing the 2022 finalist a direct entry.
