Tennis icon Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian turned heads with their recent night out at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour in Paris.
The couple was seen dancing, singing, and celebrating as Beyoncé lit up the Stade de France stage with her latest creative spectacle.
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian Embrace the Cowboy Carter Experience
Williams, a long-time fan and friend of the American pop icon, has often expressed her admiration for Beyoncé’s artistry and cultural influence. Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour has been a cultural event since it kicked off in April, and the Paris show on June 21 marked one of its most anticipated European stops.
Documenting the unforgettable evening, Williams, via her Instagram Stories, shared a series of clips and photos from the event. One standout video captured the 23-time Grand Slam champion joyfully singing along to Beyoncé’s upbeat 2011 anthem “Love on Top.”

Meanwhile, Ohanian was particularly struck by the show’s next-level production. Posting on X, the Reddit co-founder was in awe as Beyoncé performed suspended midair on a horseshoe-shaped platform, writing, “Didn’t know Beyoncé was gonna FLY tonight. Damn!”

Williams Made an Appearance in Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ Music Video
In 2016, Williams appeared in the music video for “Sorry,” a track from Beyoncé’s sixth studio album, Lemonade. In the video, Williams is shown moving through the space before energetically dancing beside the pop icon, who sits on a throne.
That same year, during a press conference ahead of the Italian Open, Williams opened up about the cameo. She shared that both the video’s director and Beyoncé personally invited her to take part, saying they saw her as a symbol of “strength and courage.”
“Well, it was a fun thing,” Williams said. “I mean, I knew the director really well. In fact, I have known the director since I was like nine years old. I know Beyonce pretty well, so they were like, ‘We would love for you to be in this particular song. You know, it’s about strength and it’s about courage and that’s what we see you as.'”
“She [Beyonce] told me that she just wants me to dance, like just be really free and just dance like nobody’s looking and go all out. So that wasn’t easy in the beginning, but then it got easier. And then, you know, we just did a few takes. It was really fun.”
