Alexis Ohanian knows how to spot a good investment, whether it’s in tech startups or Grand Slam champions. But these days, the Reddit co-founder and husband to tennis legend Serena Williams has found a new obsession that’s decidedly more tropical. His latest fixation? Fresh pineapples straight from his own farm, and he’s not keeping quiet about it.
What Has Alexis Ohanian So Obsessed With His Farm?
The multi-millionaire entrepreneur, best known for co-founding Reddit, regularly shares glimpses of his personal life on social media. This time, he revealed his latest fascination: pineapples grown right on his family farm.
Ohanian shared a picture of himself on Instagram stories holding a pineapple and the caption, “Second pineapple from the farm. Obsessed.”
The tech entrepreneur added that he had made a smoothie with the fruit and tagged his nutrition and strength coach, Tim Geromini, in the post.

This development comes after Ohanian disclosed his fixation with another fruit: strawberries. Since 2021, the duo has maintained a family farm where they grow organic produce, especially strawberries, which they frequently showcase online.
Last month, Ohanian also showed off a colorful harvest from the farm that included juicy mangoes, fresh eggs, fragrant herbs, and honey.
Ohanian has shared that he finds joy in sharing the farm’s bounty with friends, describing the act of gifting produce as one of his favorite things.
How Do Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams Balance Family and Business?
Ohanian and Williams often share snippets from their lives on their social media handles. They regularly post about their experiences parenting their daughters, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. and Adira River Ohanian.
Beyond family life, the duo is also connected by their shared passion for promoting women’s sports worldwide.
Ohanian’s investments include a stake in Chelsea Women’s FC and a role in launching Angel City FC, a team in the NWSL. Ohanian has acquired an 8-10% stake in the club and has spoken of the potential of turning it into a “billion-dollar franchise.”

Williams has also invested in Angel City and the Los Angeles Golf Club, among other ventures.
Meanwhile, Ohanian, who heads venture capital firm Seven Seven Six, which backs early-stage startups, has also launched Athlos, an all-women track and field meet that offers the biggest prize purse in track and field. The first edition of the high-profile event was held at Icahn Stadium in 2024.
Williams met the tech entrepreneur Ohanian at Rome’s Cavalieri Hotel in May 2015, and the two tied the knot in 2017. Ohanian was a permanent fixture in Williams’ box during her matches until she “evolved away from (professional) tennis” in 2022.
Since stepping away from tennis, the 23-time Grand Slam champion has stayed busy with Serena Ventures, which supports early-stage businesses, particularly those founded by women or underrepresented groups.
The former World No. 1 also owns her own multimedia production company, Nine Two Six Productions, and has stakes in various other companies.
