Serena Williams Rejoices With Husband and Daughter As Family-Owned LAGC Wins TGL Cup

Serena Williams, her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and their daughter, Olympia, celebrated the Los Angeles Golf Club winning the SoFi Cup title.

Serena Williams, her husband, Alexis Ohanian, their older daughter, Olympia, and Venus Williams are co-owners of the Los Angeles Golf Club (LAGC). Recently, the LAGC won the championship match to secure the SoFi Cup, which drew celebratory reactions from Williams and Ohanian.

The LAGC is part of TGL, a golf league co-founded by legendary golfers Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in partnership with the PGA Tour. LAGC was the first team to join the league and features PGA Tour athletes such as Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood, Sahith Theegala, and Justin Rose.

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian Celebrate LAGC’s TGL Finals Victory

On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the TGL SoFi Cup finals took place in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The LAGC team, led by Fleetwood, Rose, and Theegala, won 9-2, denying Jupiter Links, where Woods was making a comeback, a chance for a series decider.

Williams attended the match with Ohanian and their two daughters, Olympia and Adira. Following the win, the Ohanian family celebrated LAGC’s victory. The couple took to social media and shared videos, capturing their joy at the team’s success.

“@wearelagc champions!!!” Ohanian captioned his Instagram story.

Williams and Ohanian first met in a hotel in Rome in 2015 and became engaged there in December 2016. Their older daughter, Olympia Ohanian, was born on Sept. 1, 2017.

The couple married at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans in November of that same year. Their youngest daughter, Adira River Ohanian, joined the family in August 2023.

On the tennis side of things, Williams turned professional in 1995 and retired in 2022, with her final tournament being the U.S. Open. There, she competed in both the singles and doubles events.

In singles, she won against Danka Kovinić and Anett Kontaveit in the first two rounds before falling to Ajla Tomljanović in the third round. In doubles, she partnered with her sister Venus, but they lost in the first round to Lucie Hradecká and Linda Nosková.

Throughout her career, Williams won a total of 39 Grand Slam titles, including 23 singles titles, 14 doubles titles alongside Venus, and two mixed doubles titles with Max Mirnyi. She achieved the No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles in the WTA rankings, claimed four Olympic medals (one in singles and three in doubles with Venus) and accomplished many other feats.

In December 2025, Williams’ name appeared on the International Tennis Integrity Agency’s (ITIA) anti-doping testing pool list, drawing rumors about a potential return to the WTA Tour. As of February 2026, her name is listed as reinstated on the ITIA website.
