Sebastian Korda and his girlfriend, Ivana Nedvěd, enjoyed a heartwarming date in Tokyo just days before his first match at the 2025 Japan Open. Korda and Nedvěd have been together for four years, having started to date in 2021.
Korda kicked off the Asian swing of the Tour at the 2025 Hangzhou Open, beginning his campaign by defeating Adam Walton in the first round with a scoreline of 7-5, 6-3. However, his run came to an end in the second round when he lost to wild card Wu Yibing with a 6-4 , 1-6, 4-6 score.
In addition to his singles campaign, the former world No. 15 also participated in the doubles event at the ATP 250 hard court tournament in Hangzhou. He teamed up with Bu Yunchaokete and received a wild card entry into the main draw. They faced the fourth-seeded pair of Guido Andreozzi and Manuel Guinard in the first round and lost with a score of 1-6, 4-6.

Following the conclusion of his campaign at the Hangzhou Open, Korda will next compete at the 2025 Japan Open, which will be held at the Ariake Coliseum from Sept. 22 to Sept. 30, 2025.
Alongside Korda, players such as Carlos Alcaraz, Taylor Fritz, Casper Ruud, Tomáš Macháč, Ugo Humbert, Denis Shapovalov and Frances Tiafoe will also compete in the ATP 500 hard-court tournament in Tokyo.

Ahead of his first match at the Japan Open, Korda and his girlfriend Nedvěd went out for a date in Tokyo. He took to social media and shared a photo of some thoughtful gifts he received from his fans, which included a pair of wooden chopsticks and a wooden keychain, both engraved with his name. He expressed his admiration for his Japanese fans, describing them as “incredible.”
“How incredible are the fans in 🇯🇵 ❤️ 🙏 ,” Korda captioned his Instagram story.

Korda’s girlfriend, Nedvěd, also posted several pictures from their date at a ramen restaurant.

“👀👀👀,” she added.
“sebi with the camera is a no no,” Nedvěd wrote.

Earlier this year, after competing at the 2025 French Open, Korda was sidelined from the Tour due to a stress fracture, missing the entire grass court swing, including the 2025 Wimbledon Championships. The 25-year-old returned to the court during the North American hard-court swing, participating in the Winston-Salem and the US Open.
