According to TMZ Sports, the racket Djokovic used in the 2012 Australian Open final will be auctioned by SCP Auctions. The report adds that the racket could fetch up to $200,000.
“SCP Auctions is honored to offer the racquet Novak used in this epic final that many consider the greatest match in tennis history,” SCP Auctions told TMZ Sports.

The 2012 Australian Open marked Djokovic’s fifth Grand Slam title. He has since won a whopping 24 Grand Slams, as well as the Olympic gold medal. At 38, Djokovic is still dominating tennis and is preparing to compete in the 2026 Australian Open semifinals.
Novak Djokovic To Face Jannik Sinner in Australian Open Semifinals
Djokovic will continue his hunt to win a record 25th Grand Slam in the Australian Open semifinals. But standing in his way will be reigning Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner.
The World No. 2 has looked unstoppable so far at Melbourne Park and will be the favorite to come out on top against Djokovic. But the Serb will hope that his experience and know-how can help him pull off an upset at the Rod Laver Arena on Thursday.
Ahead of the match, Djokovic said that he has no intention of giving up against Sinner. Are they better right now than me and all the other guys? Yes, they are. The quality and the level is amazing. It’s great. It’s phenomenal. But does that mean that I walk out with a white flag? No. I’m going to fight until the last shot, until the last point, and do my very best to challenge them,” he said during a press conference.
Sinner leads the head-to-head between the two, having won six of the 10 matches between them. The Italian is on a five-match winning streak against Djokovic.
The winner of this match will face either Carlos Alcaraz or Alexander Zverev in the final of the 2026 Australian Open.
