Marta Kostyuk’s Husband and Two Dogs

Kostyuk has established herself as a force to be reckoned with during the clay-court swing, claiming several big results and going on a 16-match winning streak. Amid this run, the 23-year-old has been cheered on by her husband, who travels to tournaments around the world to support her.

A former tennis player himself, George Kyzymenko now works as a trader, as listed on his Instagram. Kostyuk revealed during a 2024 interview that the two first met playing tennis as kids at a club in Ukraine. While their paths took them to separate places, they met again in October 2022 and got engaged six months later. They got married in November 2023.

Kyzymenko was by Kostyuk’s side as she won the Madrid Open last month, and he has also been attending her matches at Stade Roland-Garros.

In addition, Kostyuk is also cheered on by her two dogs, Mander and Chich. Her two furry companions have often been spotted in her box alongside her husband and coach.

Mander has been by Kostyuk’s side since June 2024, while Chich joined the team in November 2025. They travel to tournaments around the globe to support Kostyuk at her matches.

Also in the player’s box at the French Open is her coach, Sandra Zaniewska. The Pole is a former tennis player who won 10 singles and 7 doubles ITF titles during her playing career.

She started coaching Kostyuk in July 2023 and has helped her go from strength to strength. Kostyuk has often credited Zaniewska for the success she has enjoyed since they began working together.

Also part of the Ukrainian’s team is her physiotherapist, Claudio Zimaglia, who has previously also worked with Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, and Maria Sharapova.

As Kostyuk looks to make more history, she will no doubt be cheered on by an entourage that continues to support her through thick and thin.
