Madison Keys Makes a Josh Allen Confession While Expressing Her Support for the Buffalo Bills With Jessica Pegula

Jessica Pegula comes from a high-profile business lineage. Her father, Terry Pegula, founded East Resources in 1983 and transformed it into a dominant force in the energy industry. He sold the company to Royal Dutch Shell for an impressive $4.7 billion in 2010. He later struck another major deal with American Energy Partners in 2014. Pegula is the daughter of Terry and Kim Pegula, who acquired the franchise in 2014 for $1.4 billion.

The Bills’ heiress has closely tracked the team’s journey, consistently backing it and sharing her support on social media. She celebrated when the franchise officially secured a playoff berth in December 2025. Much to Pegula’s delight, the team kicked off the wildcard round with a hard-fought 27-24 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium, propelling Allen and his squad into the divisional round and marking the seventh consecutive season the team reached that stage.

Besides Pegula, another tennis star with a soft spot for the team is Keys, who recently featured in the WTA’s Instagram video. Keys openly shared her support for the Buffalo Bills, while also sharing a few candid insights, including an honest admission about Allen.

“Literally couldn’t name anyone other than Josh Allen. Well I do support the Bills because of Jessie Pegula. And by support, I acknowledge when she’s told me that they won, I usually forget to look to see if they’ve won. I’d be very happy if the Bears did well this Super Bowl and I am really looking forward to the Super Bowl halftime show,” she said.

Both Pegula and Keys are now fully focused on making their mark in the 2026 season and are in Australia for the year’s first Grand Slam. Keys has already competed in lead-up events in Brisbane and Adelaide, reaching the quarterfinals in both tournaments. The World No.9 also faces the added pressure of defending her Australian Open crown, which she claimed last year by defeating Aryna Sabalenka in the final.

Pegula kicked off her season at the Brisbane International as the tournament’s fourth seed. She secured impressive wins over Anna Kalinskaya, Dayana Yastremska, and Liudmila Samsonova before her run was halted in the semifinals by Marta Kostyuk.
