After two weeks of captivating action at the 2026 Wimbledon Championships, Jannik Sinner and Linda Nosková emerged as the singles champions, clinching the coveted trophies at the grass-court Major. Keeping alive one of Wimbledon’s iconic traditions, the players took to the stage at the Champions’ Ball and shared the customary winners’ dance in elegant attire.

No. 9 seed Nosková made a major career breakthrough by producing an impressive campaign at Wimbledon, beating Ella Seidel, Camila Osorio, Sorana Cîrstea, Madison Keys, and Elise Mertens to reach her first Grand Slam semifinal. She then defeated Marta Kostyuk 6-4, 6-4 to set up an all-Czech final with No. 10 seed Karolína Muchová at SW19.
The 21-year-old faced a crushing setback after dominating the opening set of the title clash, as she let slip five championship points in the second set. However, she regrouped quickly and secured a 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 victory over Muchová to clinch her maiden Grand Slam title.
Sinner, meanwhile, survived a tough five-set battle against Miomir Kecmanović in his opening match before notching dominant straight-set wins over Nuno Borges, Jenson Brooksby, Shintaro Mochizuki, and Jan-Lennard Struff. The Italian delivered a commanding performance against Novak Djokovic during their blockbuster semifinal showdown, cruising to a 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 triumph.
Taking on No. 2 seed Alexander Zverev in the final, Sinner bounced back impressively after losing the first set and went on to clinch a 6-7(7), 7-6(2), 6-3, 6-4 win to successfully defend his Wimbledon title and claim his first Major of the season.
Just hours after lifting the trophy, Sinner arrived at the Wimbledon Champions’ Ball looking sharp in a classic black tuxedo.

During the celebrations, Sinner took the stage alongside Nosková, who turned heads in an elegant black dress. The duo delighted guests by performing the traditional champions’ dance to Justin Timberlake’s upbeat hit “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” in heartwarming scenes.

It was a familiar moment for Sinner, who previously danced with Iga Świątek at last year’s event. Speaking to the BBC at the time, the Italian revealed that, though they had been given the option to skip the dance due to the late hour, he was glad that Świątek convinced him to participate in the tradition.
“Yes, I mean, we were there and in the beginning they told us that we, because it was quite late, that we don’t have to do it. And then Iga told me, ‘No, no, let’s do it.’ I was like, ‘Okay.’ It’s tradition, so it’s good to make that happen. And yeah, it was nice to share this moment with Iga and it’s, yeah, a beautiful moment,” he said.

Jannik Sinner and Linda Nosková will both enjoy a well-deserved break before turning their attention to the North American hardcourt swing. Both players are expected to return to action at the Canadian Open, scheduled to commence on August 2. While Sinner will be in action at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Montreal, Nosková will battle for the WTA 1000 trophy in Toronto.
