On the tennis side of things, Sinner most recently competed at the 2025 Paris Masters, where he was the top seed. He began his campaign in the second round after receiving a first-round bye. In his opening match, he defeated Zizou Bergs with a scoreline of 6-4, 6-2. He then moved past 17th seed Francisco Cerúndolo in the third round, winning 7-5, 6-1.

In the quarterfinals, the Italian eliminated fifth seed Ben Shelton with a score of 6-3, 6-3, advancing to the semifinals. There, he faced the defending champion and third seed, Alexander Zverev, and secured a 6-0, 6-1 victory.

In the final, Sinner triumphed over ninth seed Félix Auger-Aliassime with a scoreline of 6-4, 7-6(4) to win the tournament, claiming his fifth ATP Masters 1000 title and 23rd ATP Tour title overall, allowing him to regain the world No. 1 singles ranking.

On the other hand, Dimitrov, who was out of the Tour since the 2025 Wimbledon Championships due to a pectoral muscle injury, returned to the court at the 2025 Paris Masters. In the singles event, he defeated Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard with a scoreline of 7-6(5), 6-1. He was scheduled to face Daniil Medvedev in the second round but withdrew before the match due to a shoulder injury.

The Bulgarian also participated in the doubles event at the ATP Masters 1000 hard court tournament in Paris. He partnered with Nicolas Mahut and received a wildcard entry. They faced off against the duo of Hugo Nys and Édouard Roger-Vasselin in the first round and lost with a score of 4-6, 7-5, 4-10.

Meanwhile, Paul dealt with a series of injuries during the second half of his 2025 tennis season. After the Wimbledon Championships, he was unable to compete in some of the North American hard-court tournaments. His last competed at the 2025 US Open, where he defeated Elmer Møller (6-3, 6-3, 6-1) and Nuno Borges (7-6(6), 6-3, 5-7, 5-7, 7-5) in the first two rounds. He was eliminated in the third round by Alexander Bublik (6-7(5), 7-6(4), 3-6, 7-6(5), 1-6).

After the New York Major, Paul was scheduled to compete in the 2025 Shanghai Masters, the Laver Cup, and the Stockholm Open, but withdrew from all these tournaments due to injury, ending his season prematurely.
