Jannik Sinner Denies Involvement in Girlfriend Laila Hasanovic’s ‘Ring’ After the Model’s ATP Finals Support

Jannik Sinner’s win over Carlos Alcaraz at the 2025 ATP Finals was a highlight of his season and a personal career moment as well, with his girlfriend Laila Hasanovic cheering for him on in Turin. The victory gave Sinner his second straight ATP Finals title and brought the head-to-head record to two wins and four losses this year against Alcaraz.

Jannik Sinner’s ATP Finals Triumph and the Ring Rumor

Sinner’s final against Alcaraz was a tough battle, but he came through in straight sets, winning 7–6(4), 7–5. Sinner and Hasanovic also shared a sweet moment after the match as the Italian star hugged his girlfriend in the stands. A little later, Hasanovic joined him, his brother, and the rest of the team for a celebratory photo.

However, things got a bit embarrassing for Sinner when a reporter asked about a ring spotted on Hasanovic’s finger during the week.

After Sinner’s win over Ben Shelton at the group stage, Hasanovic shared a photo on her Instagram story showing her right hand with a ring on her middle finger and tagged a Danish brand. Many assumed it was just a promotional post, but some wondered if the ring might be a gift from the Italian star, as Hasanovic had just celebrated her birthday.

After the ATP Finals win, when Sinner was asked whether he had to do anything with the ring, he laughed it off with a quick, “No, no, no…”. He immediately changed the conversation back to tennis, saying, “I’ll watch it but from afar, because this week has been tough not only on the court but also off it, perhaps more so than last year, so I need time to rest.”

Rumors about Sinner and Hasanovic began back at the French Open. The buzz grew at the US Open when fans noticed Sinner’s phone lock screen was a picture of her. Then, in October, after winning the Vienna Open, Sinner confirmed their relationship by thanking her in his victory speech. Since then, they have become more open as a couple, although Sinner still prefers to keep his personal life private and away from too much attention.

    Sinner’s 2025 Season and Off-Season Plans

Sinner’s 2025 season was nothing short of incredible. He started by defending his Australian Open title, became the runner-up in the French Open, won his maiden Wimbledon, and became the runner-up in the US Open, becoming the youngest player in the Open Era to reach four straight Grand Slam finals. He also ended the year with a 91% win rate, earning more than $19 million in prize money in singles only.

Hasanovic has been a big source of support for the Italian this season. After the ATP Finals, the couple would be looking forward to spending some quiet time together. The Danish model recently mentioned her love for skiing, and Sinner himself was the national runner-up at age 11.

Hasanovic shared photos and videos of herself skiing, riding snow bikes, sipping hot chocolate, and enjoying the snowy mountains. She captioned her post, “Patiently waiting for my favorite season to start.” The couple is most probably planning a winter trip with a lot of skiing on the schedule.
