Jannik Sinner and Top Tennis Stars Arrive for the Monte-Carlo Masters

World No. 2 Italian star Jannik Sinner is returning to compete at the Monte-Carlo Masters after completing the Sunshine Double on a high note. He won the Indian Wells Open after defeating World No. 10 Daniil Medvedev and then secured the Miami Open title after surpassing Czech star Jiří Lehečka.

After securing the men’s singles title at Hard Rock Stadium, Sinner reflected that, ahead of his action in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France, he would be relaxing and is content with his notable performances at the Sunshine Swing.

Sinner shared, “For me, now the most important thing is to recover and enjoy this moment. I don’t have a lot of time to adjust, playing on clay, if I want to play Monaco. I have always been someone who thinks in a very present moment. I don’t look in front, but I also don’t look backwards.”

Furthermore, he mentioned that he is looking forward to the clay-court swing: “Whatever comes, comes. I’m very happy about these couple of tournaments, and now a new chapter starts with the clay again. Let’s see how it goes.”

The tournament is scheduled to be played from April 5-12, with the defending champion being World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz. Considering this, Sinner is anticipating Alcaraz’s dominance on the clay surface, expressing: “Carlos, he has been so consistent for so, so long. Now we go on clay, where we all know how strong he is there.”
