Along with Jović, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys, Hailey Baptiste, Peyton Stearns, and Amanda Anisimova have all reached the third round at Melbourne Park, cementing a legendary milestone for the United States women’s tennis.

Gauff, for her third round, will be facing Baptiste, and Pegula has reached her third round after defeating her fellow American and her doubles partner, McCartney Kessler.

Considering her opponent, the billionaire heiress had amicably expressed, “We have tried to hook up for doubles so many times and we were joking of course, the time we actually are in the draw and ready to play, we play each other the next round in singles. It’s always tough but she’s great, her team’s great, super cool family, so no worries.”

Jović is set to play Italian star Jasmine Paolini, and the PFSN’s exclusive interactive simulator shows the latter has a 75% chance of winning. Keys, the defending champion, will face Karolína Plíšková, and Pegula will clash against Oksana Selekhmeteva in their third-round matches, while Stearns and Anisimova will face each other.
